Pros: Deserves to retain its lead in the luxury crossover market Cons: Certain pricey options The Bottom Line: Even with few changes over the years, the Lexus RX continues to set the standard in the luxury crossover SUV class for design, quality, and value
Ever been on a search for something in particular but found something better instead? In my case, on a search for a new SUV, the answer was no. Initially, I went searching for a Lexus RX and after doing my due diligence and being sidetracked exploring a ...

Pros: Powerful drivetrain, amazingly quiet ride, techy toys, assumed Lexus reliability, better-than-awful fuel economy, great emissions Cons: EXPENSIVE, very little external differentiation from non-hybrid model, fuel economy won't astound anyone The Bottom Line: If the price doesn't bother you, a luxurious and trouble-free car that does less damage to the planet.
Background I live in Los Angeles and am the father of a preschool-aged son and wanted a larger car. My daily driver had been a 2003 BMW 325i wagon, a wonderful little car that handled superbly and returned 33 mpg on the freeway. But the ...

Pros: Gas mileage; Safety; Silky smooth; Gadgets Galore! Cons: Tows max 3500 lbs. The Bottom Line: The best luxury SUV under $50K.... it has everything a gadget junky myself could ever want.
The 2007 RX350 is equipped with a 3.5L V6 (certified Ultra-Low Emissions) which produces a powerful 270 horsepower, yet far from a gas guzzling monsters that its competitors are. It gets a thrifty 25mpg on the highway. So far, I am averaging close to ...

Pros: Economical, very refined, great features. Cons: Less room than a Camry The Bottom Line: Get it if you only have 1 kid, and want something fancy. It's not really an SUV. It's a luxury car that rides high off the ground.
We've had the car for only 3 days now. But here are my thoughts. My wife had a camry, and loved it. But she's short, and wanted something a little higher off the ground. It's also hard to lean down into the camry to place the baby seat. So we started ...

Pros: Recommend for a 3 person family. Check Internet for prices and then purchasing Cons: Need more storage spac and cup holders. Do not purchase options by the dealer.
Very happy with the car the way it handles, rides, and comfort level. Fair 25 mpg fuel efficiency. Wish it had more storage space and cup holders. Otherwise it is my first Lexus and was very happy and satisfied. Negotiate prices on options (50%) or better. Test Drive for sure.
Try Regular gas and Premium gas alternating for fuel efficiency. Maintenance interval is at 5000 miles.
Floor mates may be purchased cheaper at Wholesale Club.
Check out Edmunds.com and Autobytel prices before negotiating with the dealer. Stay away from Discount Car brokers and Car dealers.

Pros: Comfortable, quick, attractive. Cons: Cruise control should have been on steering wheel.
I love this SUV. It's my first Lexus and I'm sold. It is a great ride, smooth, quick, and comfortable. I agree that it is probably not a good fit for a family with more than one child. The back seats do recline and slide forward and back. Not alot but makes for more comfort for adult passengers. The 3.5 liter engine has plenty of power. I absolutely love the console that slides back. This makes it convenient to place my purse under the shift knob instead of the back floor when I have passengers inside. I've owned mine one month and it's a keeper. I've driven mostly SUV's since my first Suburban in 1984. The only thing I don't like is the cruise control. It's on a stick at the bottom of the steering wheel. It should have been on the steering wheel. It doesn't light up so if it's dark it's difficult to set if you aren't familiar with where everything is. Check into certified pre-owned. You can save bunches of money and get the new car warranty.
