Cons: Occasionally noisy, oil filter hard to reach
The Bottom Line: It's a good vehicle, with few flaws. Very reliable. I would recommend to anyone looking for a small-size SUV.

Pros: Small, peppy AWD car that is easy to drive. Pretty good gas mileage. Solid feel.
Cons: Headrest/restraint design and seat make driving quite uncomfortable, especially on long trips. BE WARNED.
The Bottom Line: This would be a 4-star vehicle IF the headrest/restraint were comfortable. Because it causes so much aggravation, I recommend to avoid it. Unfortunately, the problem exists on all '07 Subarus.

2007 subaru forester a safe car for dangerous roads

Pros: easy for a beginner to drive
Cons: looks like a MOMMY mobile
My wife is learning to drive so I bought her a new forester. I drove it to canada and I drove 600 mi. a day with the same fatigue level as 400 mi. in my tacoma,200 mi. in my jeep wrangler. The forte of this vehicle is the wet weather emergency handling. I was doing 55 on a 2 lane road and slammed on the brakes to avoid hitting a hillbillies pickup. My next car will be WRXsti by SUBARU!
