Pros: Safety, serious gas saver! Cons: It's not for aggressive highway driving. The Bottom Line: By and large, it's not the fastest car on the road, but it is capable of handling the daily grind most cities dish out.
With gas prices climbing, and the news media bragging about all the hybrid vehicles on the road, I wanted to be one of those forward thinking consumers and try out a hybrid car on my next business trip. The Toyota Prius 2007 is a ...

The Bottom Line: An excellent vehicle to drive, with lots of space, great fuel efficiency, ultra low emissions and very unconventional design and technologies incorporated. Highly recommended.
“It’s very ‘Nintendo’ really”, the salesman said leaning from the back seat to point out the joystick-like gear shift, power button and center display panel. “Not so much a car as a large box of electronics.” Unusually for a salesman, he was right. ...

Pros: way high mpgs, not noisy, supple ride, spacious Cons: restricted driving position, greeny-geeky stigma The Bottom Line: a smart little mammal among dying dinosaurs
About hybrids: So-called because they use both petrofuel and electric power. Current hybrids derive all their energy from petrofuel, but use an electrical system to recover, store and reuse energy normally lost during braking and deceleration. ...

Pros: Environmentally friendly, great mileage, tax rebate, and a nice ride Cons: Not much flash or snob appeal and not lively on hills The Bottom Line: A good car, but the 2008 may be worth the wait
Stealth isn't usually one of the considerations for choosing a car, but if it is, the Prius may be just your thing. A good friend has the 2007 model and in conversation mentioned how useful it would have been when sneaking in and out of his girlfriend's ...

Pros: fuel economy(of course), smooth ride, A/C, eco-friendly. Cons: No side moldings, spotty availability, unknown repair costs, rear visibility needs getting used to. The Bottom Line: If you're looking only at dollars and cents, pass on this car. If you value high-technology and eco-friendly, jump in the pool, the water's fine.
We bought a 2007 Prius a month ago, and I've been the primary driver so far. This review will focus on my experience, what I like and what I don't like. I won't give a laundry list of standard Prius features, you can find those anywhere. This site is ...

Pros: It's the best I've tried. Cons: Kind of small. The Bottom Line: It's a nice compact car, but I'm not convinced.
Of the hybrids currently available, the Prius is my top choice. I don't really like it though. Let's see why. First the good. The car gets great gas mileage as a hybrid should, but doesn't always. Sometimes the hybrid technology is used to ...

Pros: Great mileage, incredibly roomy for compact, cool futuristic console, large GPS touch screen, truly keyless Cons: No rearview mirror defrost or sunroof options available, onboard GPS more expensive than portable systems The Bottom Line: For its class, excellent choice as is comfortable, minimal road noise, the best mileage around, very roomy, and all the little extras you could want
In a nutshell - I love my Prius, which I've owned for 6 months now. Mine is fully loaded, since I wanted GPS and leather, and those options mean a full package. I haven't regretted the decision once however. The options are very reasonably priced ...

It's car shuffle time. We own an Echo and a Sienna, both with over 100,000 miles on them. The Echo became the family car, because of it's relative roominess, fuel economy, and awe inspiring reliability. We bought a Prius to inject a little new blood into ...

Pros: Great fuel economy, good acceleration, relatively quiet ride and impressive quality.
Cons: Seats can be uncomfortable for some. The Bottom Line: Consider it for fuel economy, quiet operation and added features over econoboxes, closer to a Camry than a Corolla in features.
We purchased a Prius "Package 3" in January, 2006 for MSRP of $24,044. At that time, it was hard to obtain the car, much less get a dealer to go below sticker price; buyers today may be able to shave a few hundred off sticker. Our decision to buy the ...

Pros: Best MPG mid size car. Rush hour driving (stop and go or rolling)is free. Cons: Could use more power when driving up mountains on an interstate at 65/70 MPH The Bottom Line: Own one. Same same leg room as today's Camry and has the best gas mileage. Toyota reliability! Future gas is likely to be $7 pg. Hydrogen cars? Bill Gates income?
I have had this car since May 2007 and absolutely love it. I have heard and read reviews of some individuals who suggest diesel cars for less money and claim this car doesn't achieve the gas mileage claimed. Well, I am here to tell you that as for me. It ...
