Pros: Smooth and quiet. Well appointed. Cons: Too many corners cut and too high a price. The Bottom Line: Good ride but pricey. We'd say a nicely appointed Avalon would rival the Lexus in every way.

Pros: Quiet, FAST, comfortable, roomy, great entertainment, safety. Cons: The outside trunk button (open without the key fob) is missing; really expensive. The Bottom Line: If you can part with $115K, buy this car. You will look forward to your commute each and every day (I know I do).
