Pros: Power, handling, room, attractive exterior
Cons: Derivative exterior, plain interior, fuel economy
The Bottom Line: Though the interior is clearly that of a $30,000 car, and the ride is firm, the Pontiac G8 is a good value for those seeking power and room.

On paper, the new Pontiac G8 looks like the most sedan you can buy for $30,000. For this price, you get a 361-horsepower V8, all-independent rear-drive chassis, and roomy interior. Too good to be true? I took one for a test drive to find out. ...
