Pros: Style, audio system, size, space Cons: Gas mileage, cost of mechanical repairs, gear shift, plastic knobs The Bottom Line: The Scion is definitely a good starter car and will take you far. I would not buy one again if I had the choice.
The Scion xB is a Good car, but has low gas mileage. It is too bad that they do not offer a longer warranty, especially for cars driven in more rural states. The gear or "slap shift" does not have a lock, so sometimes it can be hit while driving and ... read more

Pros: its just a very good, good performance, great looks car for Cons: I wish the navigation unit/radio was voice activated. The Bottom Line: Buy one, size of a suv, milage of a good car, tons of space, good looking.
Great car. Especially for the price. My wife and I liked the first one we bought, that we bought another two weeks later. We upgraded the sound system and the navigation unit and put rims on both cars. they look great with black rims. I am a ... read more

Pros: roomy, good mileage, safe, good stereo system, convenient controls Cons: limited number and colors available at dealerships, cant negotiate price The Bottom Line: If you want an affordable, safe, roomy car, this is the car to buy! It is reliable, easy to drive and has room for everything!
The 2008 Scion XB is a great car. I bought mine thinking I was going to get an average of 25mpg and have actually gotten closer to 30mpg. The car feels very big on the inside and yet is relatively small, making it easy to drive and park. The roominess is ... read more

Pros: Sales process was the BEST I've experienced. Cons: interior could have been a little more luxurious. The Bottom Line: If you like SUV's/Crossbreeds, the XB is a great choice. If you want a great sales experience, go to a Scion Dealer.
Note: My review only covers what I purchased which is: 2008 Scion XB, hypnotic mica, automatic transmission, with stock stereo, six star wheel covers, cloth interior, factory alarm without auto ignition, with 100,000 mile extended warranty. What I ... read more

Pros: Economical, Cool looks, Peppy, Good aftermarket options, Great high beams, Safety Cons: Clunky shifter, C-pillar blind spot, Base stereo EQ lacking, Dim interior lights, No telescoping steering The Bottom Line: Very pleased with my 2008 xB. Better than some $30k cars I've owned. Fun, practical and roomy for a little wagon.
I bought a new xB (2008) in December of 2007.... What a great little car! I read all the reviews and did some serious research before deciding on it. For me, it's a great combination of power (yes, it's got enough), versatility, economy, and good ... read more

Pros: MORE POWER, comfortable seats, ergonomic pedal positioning, better windshield, cargo space, CRUISE CONTROL! modern gauges Cons: Gear shifter positioning is poor and unattractive, no shift lock bumps out of gear The Bottom Line: Get it. You cannot match this car for the price. It is essentially a Camry wagon for 17k.
I first saw the box when it first came out in 2004. I was not impressed with the physical appearance and didnt give it another thought until my 2001 Chrysler Sebring Coupe died about a year later. With a little prodding from my boyfriend I test drove an ... read more

Pros: One of kind styling radio with ipod connection.
Seems to be well put together. Cons: Security system extra. No passenger armrest.Low warning buzzer.Moonroof only available on special edition.
This is my 10th auto in nearly 34 years of driving, plus my first non-american car. In summary.. it's different! That is a good thing because at 50 I was looking for "different" I haven't owned nor drove a SUV or Van, so the high seating position is
