Pros: Improves upon the previous 7 in every way. Best driving luxo barge.
Cons: Very expensive base and options list.
The Bottom Line:

A major improvement both physically and technologically  over previous 7 series sedans. Superior handling, but, a bit harsher ride than the S550.


In my review of the BMW 745 and the BMW750 years ago, I wrote that although the car drove like no other car I’ve ever driven, the pedantic control systems and overly complicated computer (iDrive) got the BMW 745 and the 750 panned by critics. ...
