Pros: safe , reliable, good mileage , company still solvent. Cons: Needs more Horses, interior design just OK. The Bottom Line: Sporty and roomy sedan fits five, saves you three to six thousand dollars over the Accord or Altima. Consider the V6 and ensure the engine has enough "oomph" for you!
The Top LineFord may have just the car for you if you are looking for a sporty, but family-friendly sedan that won't break your budget. This trans-fusion of the Mazda 6 platform has a lot to offer for under $25,000, and narrows the gap, ...

Pros: Snappy acceleration, Sporty Looking, Excellent Handling Cons: Non-cooperative transmission, lacks leather in SE V6 model. The Bottom Line: Best bet in the mid-size, mid-range category. Gotta go with AWD!
I purchased a 2008 Ford Fusion V6 AWD back in October 2008. I decided to finance the vehicle at sticker price ($0 down, Sign & Drive) for $25,825, which brought my payment with interest to about $557 per month (YIKES!). I had my sights set on the ...

Pros: Great ride, comfortable, hands free calling with Sync, good MPG. Cons: none The Bottom Line: I definately recommend the 2009 Fusion. Its fun to drive, great features and options, and great MPG.
Last September, I purchased a 2009 Fusion. I wanted to drive it for a while before writing a review on it. It is the first car I owned in 6 years. I used to have an SUV, so I had to get adjusted to sitting lower to the ground. The Fusion is a great car. ...

Pros: Fit and finish, comfort, reliability. Cons: Unnatural placement of controls on steering wheel & non-user-friendly SYNC system. The Bottom Line: Not a bad car, but not a stand-out one in this class.
Ford is building some its best products ever, no doubt. A lot of hype is out there about this one in particular, but to me it is just that – a bunch of hype. The car is a decent buy, but I would put it behind the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, ...

Fusion vs Sonata

Pros: Nicely styled, fun to drive, roomy, responsive, reasonably priced Cons: Not as smooth-riding as we'd like
My wife and are looking for a mid-size sedan, and test drove both the 2009 Sonata and Ford Fusion recently after researching both extensively. We are currently driving an aging Lincoln Towne Car, and are looking for a new car that offers a comparable driving experience for a reasonable amount of money. Both vehicles have a surprising amount of interior room, but the Sonata comes out slightly on top for interior headroom in the back seat (I'm 6'1" and always do a back seat comfort test while my wife is test driving). It also had a smoother ride, something noticed immediately by our 10-year old son who was with me in the back. The upgraded 4-cylinder provided a surprising amount of oomph on the highway. The Fusion seemed a bit more responsive; with the 5-speed manual it was definitely more fun to drive. It also looks sportier. Both had huge trunks for their size (that's definitely one thing we liked about the Lincoln). Right now we're leaning towards the Hyundai, primarily because of its warranty, but either car would suit us just fine.

Love My Fusion

Pros:
Good: SatTrack,Microsoft Sync, strong engine, Sony surround sound. Cons: Improve the ride, need keyless entry and start.
My wife and I shopped from the Cadillac to Lincoln to the Fusion. We ended up buying the Ford Fusion Hybrid. We went from a Cadillac STS to a Ford Fusion Hybrid.
A week after we bought it we drove from California to the East coast, a little over 7,000 miles. Milage was not as advertised, we got 37.3 MPG, not the 41 as projected. It certainly does not ride like a Cadillac. The technology is awesome. We bought one with every thing Ford offered. Over all we are well pleased with the car. The 4 cylinder engine far exceeded my expectations. The Atkins engine puts out plenty of power.
