Pros: Should be as reliable and hold its value as well as previous generations. Cons: Less head-turning styling than the Civic and with less high-tech, gee-whiz gadgets than the Sentra. The Bottom Line: Perfect for those looking for reliable transportation without the glitz or the tech found in other models.
When the 10th generation of the Toyota Corolla was launched in the US in 2008, it was clearly an evolutionary move by Toyota. Compared to the drastic changes made by Honda with the Civic and you may wonder why Toyota even bothered. Did anyone actually ...

Pros: Fuel Mileage, Fun To Drive, Long Ride Comfort, Great Vision, Dependable, Great Storage. Cons: No Separate Clock, 15" Wheels To Small, No Trunk Remote on LE The Bottom Line: We drove the Civic, Mazda 6, Mazda 3, Subaru Forrester, Pontiac G5, Chev Malibu and Cobalt, Jetta.........and Camry and decided on the Corolla. NO REGRETS!
I recently bought a new Toyota to replace my worn out old Honda Accord. After shopping for months I decided on the Toyota basically because they gave me the best price. I had narrowed down to a Mazda 6 or the Corolla. I bought the 1.8L Corolla LE and ...

Pros: It will retain its value Cons: The ride quality and handling is below par. The Bottom Line: There are far better vehicles than this, Toyota have replaced a good car with one that is worse. Whilst the trim and finish are nice, the handling is poor.
Ok, I drive a 2.0litre one of these as a work vehicle, clocking up around 10000km per annum; this is normally on rough and windy New Zealand roads. Our fleet vehicles are either hatchbacks or station wagons, but are similarly equipped and always come new ...

Pros: This car is a 4 door which is great for kids. Cons: The only con is there is no power point in the back seat. The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car to anyone. 2009 Toyota Corolla XRS

Pros: - Good Power - Attractive styling - roomy - a lot of storage Cons: - Electronic assisted steering makes it not as fun to drive as our old GTI
My husband and I purchased the 2009 Toyota Corolla XRS in Washington back in March of 2008. We loved the body style, the engine (2.4L) power, and the gas mileage. On average we achive 33 miles per gallon. My husband drives about 60 miles per day and needed something dependable yet somewhat powerful. The vehicle we replaced was a 1997 GTI VR6 which was fast and fun, but was no longer a good fit for our family.
We've now owned the Corolla for almost a year now and has never caused us any problems. The cabin is very quiet for being an econo car, the power is great which makes passing people on the freeway a breeze. The trunk capacity is outstanding in this car, my husband regularly carries his golf clubs in the trunk and we still have room for the baby stroller.
The stereo sounds great, it has 6 speakers total which really produces crisp clear highs and pretty good thumping lows. Overall we have been very happy with this vehicle and no regrets. We would recommend this vehicle to our friends.

2009 Toyota Corolla LE

Pros: It gets exceptional fuel milage, has a very room interior, and drives great. Cons: I would like to see more Toyota Corolla's offer sunroofs as standard equipment.
We purchased our 2009 Toyota Corolla LE in May 2008...when gas prices were skyrocketing. For a small car, it offers a lot of leg room and space for the entire family...front seat and back seat. We recently took a trip to South Padre Island, TX about 8 hours from our home....and we had an enjoyable ride all the way there - did not feel cramped at all. The trunk area has plenty of room as well.
I think the car has a nice appearance, excellent paint, drives and handles great. The cost of owning this car is exceptional considering you only have to get the oil changed every 5,000 miles, and refuel approximately every 455 miles give or take a little depending on fuel prices. *(It has a 13 gallon tank and gets approximately 35 miles per gallon)
We test drove other small cars before purchasing the Toyota Corolla; however, most of them did not offer the room and comfort that the Toyota did. Some of the models that we test drove were: VW Jetta, Honda Civic, Toyota Prius, Scion TC, and Saturn Ion.
