Pros: Built better than anything else and looks amazing!!
Cons: Low on options list and could use more power.
The Bottom Line: I'd buy another long before I'd even buy a Ford, Dodge or Chev.
This is my third Toyota Tacoma. I've now had a 02, 05 and now the 2009. Each new truck has brought a few changes which have been welcomed. I should also point out that I am in Canada, which means the truck is a bit different than that of it's US ...

Needed a good truck

Pros: Quiet, strong and smooth. Did I mention how quiet it was?
Cons: Regular cab bench seat does not recline.
I had a 1990 toyota base pickup. At 300K miles and before having to put any money into it to keep it running well, I decided to replace it. I bought a new 2009 Tacoma base model short bed pickup and was surprised at how nice a pickup these trucks had become. Very strong, while riding smoothly, running quietly and getting excellent fuel mileage. I'm very pleased, as would anybody that buys a new Toyota.
