Pros: Plush interior, quiet ride ,nice interior materials. Good stereo. Good looking vehicle.
Cons: MPG is not as stated 22-23 HWY not 30. 4cyl engine defective.
The Bottom Line: GM should have caught the 2.4 4 cyl engine balance chain and oil consumption issues which require engine replacement or deep engine component replacement .

We just traded in our 2002 Honda CRV which we put 147 k miles on . It was a great vehicle. I was hesitant about buyng a Chevrolet as we have been a content Honda family lately due to their great reliability we experienced . I purchased this ... read more

Pros: Refinement, room, comfort, styling, fuel economy (4-cylinder)
Cons: Not quick or agile, for those into such things

A Chevrolet worthy of consideration. Four-cylinder surprisingly better than the V6.

Pros: Great fuel mileage, styling, comfort, features and build quality.  All wheel drive as an option.
Cons: They are scarce!  Dealers may not "deal."  But that's true of competition too.
The Bottom Line: You will miss a lot if you don't shop the 2010 Equinox.  It's a world=class vehicle

Pros: Super quiet road manners, good looking inside and out, priced right
Cons: Shiny pieces on the dash can be annoying on sunny days

Finally, a small American SUV that's better than the imports hands down!

Pros: The larger engine moves out smartly once you get into higher revving power band. 
Cons: A bit complicated sound system. Large turning radius. No home-link built-in to open garage
