Pros: Price lower than Prius, Observed gas mileage, Better handling than Prius. Cons: Engine noise, interior quality, harsh ride, rear headroom The Bottom Line: Honda had the chance to make a great dedicated hybird vehicle: they didn't.
When the Honda Insight debuted in 2000 it boasted fuel economy that no production car on the road could duplicate, but sadly Honda's tiny Insight could only accommodate two people, it couldn't haul much of anything, and it was priced over $20,000: quite ...

Pros: Fuel economy; Appearance; Economy option Cons: Rear view obstructed slightly; Tight interior The Bottom Line: The 2010 Honda Insight is the newest addition to my home and has already saved me quite a bit in fuel expenses.
Gasoline isn't as expensive as it was in 2008, but the cost of fuel is still an important consideration when choosing a new car or truck. Pollution and other factors may also influence one's decision, and these are the main reasons for the upswing in the ...

Pros: Fuel economy, price? Cons: Nearly everything else The Bottom Line: Unless Toyota dealers severely mark up the 2010 Prius, I don't see the point in buying a 2010 Honda Insight.

Pros: excellent gas mileage, stylish, eco friendly, fun Cons: slight engine noise
If you are looking for a full size car, than don't look at solely hybrid vehicles. I have had my Insight for two months and have already put on over 4,000 miles. I have taken it on many long road trips and have been very comfortable. It advertises 40/43 MPG, I have yet to get less than 45MPGs! Traveling on the interstate I usually get around 50MPGs!
The interior is futuristic and stylish. There is not a lot of room in the back for folks 6 feet or taller. The hatch back offers plenty of room both on the floor and under. Honda has utilized every square inch of the interior.
The engine slightly roars when accelerating suddenly. It is a small car, so some engine noise is to be expected.
The Insight has a great safety system with 6 airbags.
All in all, this is a great eco car that is both stylish and affordable.
