the second best home-, soho-, small-midsized business fast ethernet NIC

Pros: 3Com name, parallel tasking -- offload processing to the NIC itself
Cons: if you don't need a managed card get the 3C905C-TX-NM instead
Second only to the 3C905C-TX-NM, this is an excellent fast ethernet NIC. There are no negative aspects unless you consider reliability a downside. If you make your living repairing components then by all means avoid this one and buy something cheaply...
