If you have a classic car this stuff works miracles!!! by breee ,Jul 22 '07
Pros: Removes oxidation VERY well to reveal beautiful paint underneath. Leaves car finish shiny, like new. Cons: Takes force to apply by hand
I had a fair amount of oxidation on my newly-purchased classic, a 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider. I was deciding on whether to splurge on a new paint job when a friend recommended this product. It was worth a try, as the existing paint job was dull but the scratches were few. I applied by hand using a terry cloth, rubbed hard and buffed with a microfiber detailing cloth. WOW! I was happy as soon as I'd buffed the first square foot or so as I knew it was working. It takes a bit more force to apply than a regular wax, but maybe only just a bit more. It will soil your towels as the oxidized paint comes off, but I was using old towels to wax with anyhow. Now I get a ton of compliments on how the car looks and what a huge improvement it made. Highly recommended.
