Pros: Superb sound, ample power Cons: Complicated Setup, not that intuitive operation
I bought this receiver about 3 months ago. I have had many Denon receivers this year (1700, 1800, 2800, 3300, 4800 and now the 5800). I also auditioned the 3801, which is not bad at all.

this is the best sounding reciever that i have ever heard. Better than parasound better than any previous denon and better than adcom. What a monster. I almost hurt my back lifting it into place.

This is the Denon AVC-A1SEA-N I saw in Tokyo. Denon just built a tank and they really over engineered this one, Pioneer VSX-A10 is just about as good. I'm looking forward to have an American specs version of this unit.
