Sony CFD-S39 Cassette/CD Boombox

Pros: Good sound quality
Cons: CD player defective

At Christmas, we decided to purchase the Sony boombox CFD V177 for my daughter. For lack of a better category, I am putting this opinion under this Sony model. Sony was a brand name we have trusted before in buying electronics.

I do not usually write reviews on websites. However, I thought I must when the Sony CFD-S39 only received one star. I even realize that this product is probably no longer available. But I just do not let that pass. The Sony CFD-S39 has features usually found on only higher end machines. The one that sticks out is auto reverse on the cassette deck. Some of the machines that cost $200 or more lack this feature. The sound quality is great. I had this machine for well over three years and it is still going strong. Thank you for letting me speak.
