Pros: Works great and is easy to use. Cons: May not copy most DVDs to a VHS tape.
Now you can watch your DVD movie and record a TV show at the same time.
This is combination package will set you back $379 to $499 depending on where you purchase one. One bright side of it is you only have one unit and not two. It is a...
Pros: Opens up choices. Great Quality. Cons: A tad bigger than regular VCR/DVD players.
I am happy I purchased the DVR5000, it was one of the best investments I have ever made. I had to shop around some before I found this particular item, and was taken aback by the price tag of $499.00. If you can find this item elsewhere perhaps through...
Pros: A very good DVD player and VCR all in one space-saving package! Cons: Ejecting a DVD while watching TV sends the unit to DVD mode (blue screen).
When I was first looking for DVD players, I'd planned to go for JVC. But I didn't have room for both a VCR and a DVD unit. I searched the web and came across the only company doing a combo unit -- GoVideo. It took a couple of months before I broke...

Pros: A one-of-a-kind product on a very hot market. Cons: Price.

Pros: Excellent VCR. DTS decoder provides great sound. Cons: Poor quality. Customer service at GoVideo is not very responsive.
I was somewhat disappointed in this product. The VCR portion is consistent with typical GoVideo excellence and quality. I have no complaints in that area.
The DVD, however, is a thorn in my side. It worked great for about 3 months, and by 6...
Go Video should have stuck... by britt_dt3000 ,Jun 01 '02
Go Video should have stuck to VHS. DVD is pathetic. Returned first unit, second is not much better. Skips and stops play on about 70% DVD's. Don't even think about renting dvd's with this product. Cleaning disks does not help. Minor scratches will ruin your evenings.
