Pros: Great value, hi-fi, nice remote, compact size Cons: flimsy construction, no flourescent display, overly sensitive to macrovision
When the VCR in the kids room finally started to flake out I decided to replace with a Hi-Fi unit. I budgeted $75 but was quite pleased to find this unit on sale for only $39.99! While it's easy to see where they saved money it is well worth the purchase...

Pros: Nothing comes to mind unless you have an obsession with plugging and unplugging things. Cons: Poorly constructed, cheap inferior materials, also makes a lovely grinding noise when rewinding.

Pros: NONE Cons: EVERYTHING........READ REVIEW
This Sylvania VCR is the worse. It's cheaply made, once a tape gets stuck in it, it can't be fixed. We bought this VCR about a month ago, recently a tape got stuck in it. COULD NOT, no matter what we did, which included taking the top off, get the tape out. Took it to ABC Warehouse to see what they could do, their advice was to THROW IT OUT, they said it's not worth fixing, it is one of the worse VCR's on the market. I agreed, we threw it out, it was truly a waste of money. I own a Sylvania TV, I've had it for 15 years, the only problem I ever had with the TV was around 3 years ago, the sound went out. It was fixed and still works great to this day. I have no idea what Sylvania was thinking with this VCR. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
