Pros: Affordable, easy to use Cons: Display very limited & sometimes difficult to see, two equalizers unnecessary, sound quality 5/10
I have a Chevy Tahoe with OnStar, and I didn't want to lose my Onstar capabilities with an after-market head unit, but I wanted to design a sound system for my vehicle. A sales rep at my local car audio place suggested I go with this Blaupunkt because it...
Pros: Cheap, sounds good, volume on dial Cons: Some quirky features, and ZERO customer support.
Disclaimer: I am NOT an audiophile!!!
I needed a CD player for my truck and this was the cheapest one Frys had, with an actual volume dial. I have no regrets and I am buying a second unit for my wifes car too.
This CD player is very, very un-reliable. I purchased this CD player to be the cenral piece of my car stereo. From many people I had heard how good Blaupunkt was, how wrong they were. I have had nothing but problems with this head unit. First of all...
Pros: Cool display.Bright and easy to use.

Beautiful in VW Jetta/Bug by joedenver ,Oct 03 '04
Pros: Features, color scheme, sound Cons: none
I bought this for my 2001 VW Jetta since the color matches the original (indigo blue) of the interior - matched perfectly. The sound quality is amazing - good ability to change equalizer settings. The "startup" volume control is a great feature. Set the startup volume at any decibel - (low is better) and you'll never get blasted out of your car when you get back into it - doesn't matter how loud the volume is when you got out of your car.
