Pros: Stylish, easy to use, sweet sound, lots of power, great price
Cons: lacks certain functions, others confusing, occasionally skips CDs(more so than other players would), overheats easy

I've always heard great things about Blaupunkt but I had never heard one until my friend put one into his car. Then I realized how great it was, it had excellent sound in the high and low ranges and you could even adjust the power output from the deck....

Pros: high power (kinda), rotary volume, colorful, good shock protection
Cons: colorful, too many bells and whistles, fold down face

My Audi came with this. I would never have purchased it on my own, but until I can afford that Nakamichi 6-CD changer, I'm stuck with it. I guess it works well for what it is, but I doesn't go right in an old German car.
This is sad, since Blaupunkt...

Pros: Looks good in Black interior E30 BMW.
Cons: Expensive and unreliable.

I am very rarely dissatisfied with any product that I choose to purchase, but this head unit is an exception. It skips, it only gets 2 am stations, it has reliability problems from time to time. For as much money you could buy a better unit with more features from just about any other company. Don't buy it.

Pros: The Bass has 3 levels of output.Colorful face in red and blue.
Cons: The volume control knob certainly isn't the greatest.

This is a great receiver for the price. It has a real flashy face that gathers alot of attention. Sound quality is on a higher level with the addition of aftermarket speakers. I primarily purchased this unit for the price- I wasn't disappointed with what I got. It has all the bells and whistles if you plan on hooking up all the extras to make a system. Lots of personal sets on the Menu program allow for tuning to your specific likes. You can't go wrong here.
