Pros: compact, sound quality inputs/outputs Cons: not extremely powerful
When I purchased a 95 4Runner last summer, the first thing I wanted to do was replace the factory sound system. No offense to Toyota, but the existing system didn't cut it.

Good Amp - Has delivered for more than two years
by nick2442 ,Nov 16 '03
Pros: Good Durability, Easy to use, Good quality amp. Cons: No plug for the bass adjuster knob thingy, but not really an amp for subs.
I got this amp for christmas about two years ago to power four speakers in a Jeep Wrangler. At first, I used it to power two sony xplod speakers in the rear, and the factory speakers in the front. Great sound quality, the amp delivered, no problems at all.
Since, I have sold that vehicle, and transferred the amp to my new Jeep. Currently I am using it to power the front speakers and tweeters, and I bought another Kenwood amp (an even older model, but more powerful) to power the subs and rear speakers. Everything sounds great, and the amp is still bringing me good sound. I even had the KAC-649s hooked up to the two 6" subs and front speakers for a while and they sounded great! This amp has been a good investment and keeps up to my expectations year after year.
Probably not an Amp to power some large subs, but good for sounds good with any kind of speakers I've hooked up to it. (Including: Sony Xplod 2-ways, Infinity 6002is, MB Quart 4" Components and 6.5" Components)
