Pros: Less than 1 inch thick, great sound and picture quality, impressive features. Cons: Much too expensive considering it is just a DVD/CD player.
Summary: If money is no object and you are looking for an excellent portable DVD-Video CD player, I suggest you check out Panasonic’s DVD-LV70. After my brother purchased this machine, I had the pleasure of borrowing it for a few weeks while he was out of town....

Pros: Good picture/sound. Long Battery Life. Very Compact. Cons: No power cord for car. Adapter does not support 220V for travel.
Summary: This is my first portable DVD player. In particular, I bought this one because of its reported long battery life and very positive reviews. I have had this unit for about a month and played a variety of movies on it. I am quite impressed. First. ...

Pros: Excellent picture & sound, does not skip Cons: Car adapter expensive (there is a cheaper solution, though)
Summary: I wanted a portable DVD player for the kids to watch in the car. We have a station wagon, so the old-style TV players were too big. I originally purchased an Initial 8-inch screen portable from Walmart.com for the (relative) bargain price of $397,...

Pros: Compact, lightweight, long battery life, excellent picture and sound. Cons: AC adapter does not convert voltage.
Summary: I just bought this so I have still to try out all the features. I have a 2-hour commute to work everyday in each direction and I travel overseas several times a year - so I thought this might make a good travel companion. I am amazed at the picture and...

Pros: Excellent picture, Loooong battery life. Cons: A little picky on DVD's it wants to play.
Summary: I bought this to use exclusively for traveling. I fly a lot and the airlines just don't entertain you anymore on domestic flights. I found a used one on eBay for a Buy-it-now price of $350, so I snatched it up.
I immediately was blown away...

Pros: size, sound, image quality, screen size, BATTERY LIFE Cons: pixelation in some 'stretch' modes
Summary: Since moving to the fringes of the Chicago urban sprawl, I have had to deal with a 1-hour, twice-daily commute. To mitigate this horror, I received permission from the family book-keeper (my wife) to buy a portable DVD player.
In the past,...

Pros: Great picture, great battery life. Cons: $$$. 'Open' button is a little tricky.
Summary: I have started to fly alot more, so I thought it would be nice to watch DVD's to pass the time. The 5" models are too small, and the 9" are just too expensive. I settled on the LV-75 and have not regretted it.
The picture quality is great....

Summary: The wife and I went back and forth before purchasing this one. It seems like a luxury. But we've now owned it for 4 years, it's working great, and we consider it a travel necessity. With regard to the technical details, the picture is fantastic, the ...
