Not a bad product overall..overall range is fine for a frs radio, everything worked fine and dandy. At first glance of the radio it seems to look like a toy walkie talkie, but everything works as fine and rugged as my other frs and gmrs radios. Would recommend to families or partners on average but not for extended distance talking over a mile or so.
