The Aiwa XP-MP3 is a Portable CD Player that plays MP3 Formats!

by surferdude7 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 10, Jul 10 '01
Pros: 10 hours of MP3 music on one CD!
Cons: There is a limit of 512 tracks or files on one CD.
Now you can listen to your MP3 files or regular music CDs while on the go. With this player you are not limited to just your MP3 files or just your CD music, now you can have both. This player will play MP3 music files on both CDR and CDRW discs.

Aiwa XP MP3: A REALLY Good Buy!

by Alkaiser Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Jan 31 '02
Pros: Sturdy, cheap, feature-filled.
Cons: Burns through batteries, but all these things do.
When I went to Japan for the first time this year, one of the things I knew I definitely wanted to buy was a portable MP3 player. My car has no working stereo to speak of, and although it plays cassettes, cassettes are dead to everyone on the planet....

Aiwa XP-MP3: The MP3 Accessory to Buy

by Cornell2000 , Sep 22 '01
Pros: lets you enjoy lots of music on the go
Cons: not perfect, anti-skip feature only works on normal CD's
If you're a college student like me you probably have a large MP3 collection. While having a vast music library on your hard drive is great, it would be really cool if you could listen to your music anywhere you go. If you want to be able to do this,...

Not bad "musical box"

by 200067 , Apr 17 '02
Pros: Convenient controls, excellent compatibility (CD, CD-R, CD-RW), correct reproduction of files with various bitrates
Cons: Rather average quality of sounding, absence of the remote control, WMA is not supported
Aiwa XP-MP3 is one from advanced brandname CD/MP3-players. It is equipped with the graphics display, reads CD-R and CD-RW disks, plus has buffer memory for 10 seconds.

First, that I marked, it have modern design. The disposition of buttons of...

Take your MP3s on the road!

by rpotencz , Jun 03 '01
Pros: Good navigation, good (not perfect) compatibility
Cons: Problems with bitrates over 256 kbps, no remote
If you want to play MP3 files "on the road", you currently have three options: MP3-CD players, players with memory cards, and players with integrated hard drives. The memory card players (such as the original Rio) have a relatively small capacity, are...

I bought this CD player online for 199.99. It ended up being around 220.00 after tax and shipping. I bought this because I wanted to put my mp3 cd burner to use but I also wanted a player that would tag my cd's and...

Pros: Plays MP3s, great sound

I recently bought the XP-MP3 after researching the features and prices of portable CD/MP3 players. I do believe that I made the right decision, but that the breed has a long way to go...

The unit looks and feels like a slightly oversized...

cheap and reliable cd mp3 player

by burmistrz , Mar 14 '02
Pros: cheap and reliable cd mp3 player
Cons: average battery life, squeaking sounds caused by volume control knob
This is my second cd-mp3 player after the Rio Volt 90, which was skipping discs too much. This Aiwa is much better, especially at a price I paid - much below $100.

It has a good LCD display with no stupid dancers like on the Rio. It has well...

The Aiwa XP-Z3C is a good value with lots of features for the money. I like the extra battery pack which attaches to extend playback time. I had problems skipping songs using the remote, but the backlight for the display made it easy see the song titles. I have used CD-R and CD-RW disk and it plays both with no problems.

Well....it comes with all the toys, remote control, car adapter, cigarrete lighter charger, 2 rechargable batteries and a compartment to use regular batteries. The sound is impressive and loud, which others fail to deliver (specially ram based players). I got the unit going in 3 minutes. Portability is great...
