Pros: High capacity, economical media, AM/FM tuner, compact. Cons: Wished one MD could really replace the Nomad Jukebox and no Mac support.
Since I have a large MP3 collection of more than 200 songs, I really do enjoy my MP3 collection. But while I’m away from my desktop computer, I didn’t really have the opportunity to have the pleasure to listen to my MP3 collection. So I went out and...
Pros: Sound Quality, No Skip, Battery Life, 5 hour recording time Cons: Real time recording only, Software and Digital PCLink not intuitive
My first foray into digital music involved the purchase of this little recorder. (I just bought a replacement turntable last year) I had planned to archive some of my vinyl collection before they turned to dust. The economics and editing time proved to...
Pros: Small, durable, skip-proof Cons: Digitally recording is not as easy as it sounds.
First of all, if you are trying to decide between this and the MZR-700, here are two features that are worth the extra $50 if you use them. The stick remote on this MD player/recorder has an LED display, making it so you don't have to remember...
Pros: Small size, great sound, radio, connects to any computer, cost effective. Cons: There are some smaller units, must record in real time.
If you are looking for a portable minidisc recorder with an AM/FM Radio, then this is the one for you. The MZ-G750DPC is a top of the line Sony minidisc recorder. If you have no use for the radio, you might consider the Sony MZ-R700. It is basically the...
Pros: Radio Tuner, Remote, looks good. Easy recording with ps2. Cons: No backlit display.
I just bought at mz-g750 on e-bay for $175.00. I'm probably not the first to figure this out, but if you have a playstation 2 and a TOS link, you can record your music onto your mini disc. The ps2 will even read cd-r's of your soon to be mixes, just make...
Pros: Long Battery Life
Digital Recording
Over 5 Hrs Per Disc Cons: It Can't Have My Babies
This does everything you could want a minidisc to do, recording and playback with a built in radio too! I really love it, completely indispensable, being able to get over 5 hours on each tiny disc is great for even the longest journeys, and the amazing 48hrs battery life from a single AA battery really is true. Thoroughly recommended!
I record alot of live... by bryder_dt3000 ,May 18 '02
I record alot of live music from the Jersey shore with the sony 750, just plug into the mixer and what you get is great sound. I always use mode 2 (160 minutes) and it sounds like it came from a studio. The quality is limited only by the microphones and other equipment used. Would love to have a opitical link back to the computer from the Mini Disc, that would be the icing on the cake.
