Pros: works like SLR. upgradeable. vivid, accurate colours. AC adapter included. Cons: terrible battery life. sluggish performance. electronic viewfinder. ISO 400 seems insufficient.
bad timing, bad pick. i bought this FinePix 6900 this spring during my trip to Japan, largely because of its look (also because i was quite happy with the FinePix 1400, my first camera). turned out to be quite a disappointment, but let's look at its good...
Pros: Professional features; great quality: lightweight and handy. Cons: None
I'm still experimenting with and learning about this cam, and I've only taken about 60 pictures. The cam is loaded with professional style features. The built in flash does a great job of providing very natural lighting and back lighting, and you can...
Pros: One of the best optical zooms & easy to operate! Cons: Long delay between flash recharges,& only 16MB memory card.
There was a time recently when digital still cameras were few and far between. Their resolution was somewhat limited with grainy pictures. Well, this has evolved into a large selection of megapixel cameras, in all price ranges.
Pros: Incredibly sharp & powerful (6X zoom)lens, comfortable to hold & vivid colors Cons: Plasticky, no swivelling LCD, battery guzzler & hot during operation
Whilst considering which camera to upgrade to from my Canon G1, I borrowed my friend's Fuji 6900Z for a week to "test drive". The following is my experience with the camera. I would not dwell into the technical details as these are freely available...
Pros: six times zoom, superb resolution and colour, full manual or full auto Cons: flash as in all digitals inadequate
IMPRESSIONS AND INITIAL COMMENTS
Having switched from my Canon 620 to a Fuji 6900z digital I did not now whether i was going forward or backward, but after 4 months and 3,000 photos later I can answer in the affirmative.
This...
Pros: small & lightweight SLR style cam, hundreds of features yet simple for beginners Cons: battery life
This is probably the best digital camera on the market thats priced under $1000.
At the size of a grapefruit, this little camera has the best ergonomic fit in the palm of your hands. It is shaped so well, that its easier to simply carry it...
Pros: 6x optical zoom, manual focus, 3.3 megapixel superCCD sensor, lcd screen Cons: viewfinder, no mic for video, limited shutter speed
I recently purchased the Fuji Film FinePix 6900 Zoom camera and have had nothing but success in picture taking. The various options in file size and quality all produce crisp, quality, printable images. The 6x optical zoom is one of the highest optical...
Pros: Lightweight, excellent colors, sharpness, external flash hotshoe Cons: Rather weak battery, inaccurate framing of viewfinder, charging stand not supplied
It is amazing how fast digital cameras have developed over the past few years. My previous Sony DSC-F505 proved that digital cameras could produce sharp images no less than conventional SLRs. The Sony, however, lacked the capable metering system to...
Pros: 6X optical zoom, great features Cons: grainy viewfinder images, only comes with 8Mb SM card
A friend just bought this camera and let me use it for a few days to evaluate it. With the 3.3 megapixel CCD, this camera takes shots at a great resolution, yielding excellent printed photos. The 6X optical zoom is a huge plus. You can take short JPEG...
Pros: Light weight, easy to use for pro/amateur. Great color and resolution. adjustable modes Cons: Slow boot. Slow charge on flash between pictures

This is my 3rd digital, the first was an Olympus D-200 it was okay for internet posting but realy nothing more than a 3"X4" could ever be printed. Having A Minolta Maxxum 9 and a Maxxum 7(Both top end 35mm slr). I could not see much more use for...
Pros: FLEXIBILITY Cons: Power use, view finder, movie sound, availability, PRICE.
Used Fuji S602, 6900 and 3800. The 602, at best price of $499 seemed best for a professional. Had all features of 6900 plus optical view finder, much better power conservation and many accessories available. BUT, the bargain was the 3800 . Not as...
Pros: ease of use, image quality, wide range of professional tools Cons: none
I bought Finepix 6900 after careful consideration and I am 100% satisfied of my choice. The only limit I have found till now (I'am still experimenting my new camera) is a quite short battery life, but I never heard someone satisfied about battery life....
This is my second digital... by gkchou_dt3000 ,May 27 '02
This is my second digital camera. I use it for professional use of exterior and interior record keeping. I am truelly amazed by it's exceptional quality of resolution which it can be generated. I have try in all occasions and find out that my Fuji 6900 not only can serve the purpose to meet my needs but also provided me with amazing quality which I can be truelly satisfied.
This ia truely a FANTISTIC digital camera which have exceed my expections with such an amazing quality of pictures and ease of use.
Highly! Highly! recommended.
I have two digital cameras and this is the third one, I hate to change digital camera again so I search all web sites before I buy FinePix 6900, my minimum concern is:
Sharp lense and high optical zoom. Good picture quality, high resolution, low price. Long battery operation time and short charging time. Easy to down load the images to PC. Low price to buy the additional memory. Sensitivity against to low light operation. Easy to carry and operation. Of course, some of them are irreconcilable conflict, the final decision is it's acceptable price.
Now I use it for family and some professional shooting, the picture quality is excellent, the preview befor saving function that let me and every one satisy to their appearance and their pose before saving.
