Polaroid Photo Max Digital 320 Camera - You get what you pay for...and less.

by jag2112 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Jan 31 '02
Pros: Inexpensive and light weight.
Cons: Poor picture quality. No flash. Low aperture. No Zoom...and more.
Initially, when I heard about Polaroid's inexpensive Photo Max Digital 320 Camera, I thought it was a great idea. Offer a low-end, very inexpensive digital camera to allow people a way of seeing just how interesting and fun digital photography can...

Photomax 320---Oh Boy, It's Bad!

by erinrounds Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, Jan 25 '02
Pros: Honestly none!
Cons: Doesn't work, poor resolution, fuzzy pictures, you name it.
I have a confession to make, I am a technological dummy. No bones about it, I can't and generally don't care too, know too much about anything electronic. That is why I got myself a husband quite frankly. Now, with that said, I must admit that in one...

Well, what did I expect for $14?

by basilisk4 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Sep 08 '01
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Cheap
The Polaroid Photo Max Fun! 320 digital camera really does prove that old cliche that "you get what you pay for." Truth be told, I only paid $14 for this silly thing...and it showed. I don't often write negative reviews; in fact, I typically only write...

So you wanna buy a digital camera? Well Mr. Trotters got just the one for you in his suitcase hasn't he Rodney? Uncle albert carried one of these round the world in the navy and he's still using it today. All he needs now is one of my brilliant 286 ...

I made a terrible mistake...

by torindkflt , Oct 26 '02
Pros: Uses a standard 9-volt battery, simple one-button functionality, auto-timer, inexpensive
Cons: HIDEOUS picture quality, no flash, small memory capacity (18-24 pictures), slow downloads to computer
One day I was signing on to my AOL account. Now, AOL is known for having advertisements pop up at random times, and usually I just ignore them and close them when they appear.

But on this particular day, an ad popped up immediately after...

It's cheap and digital.

by veganweb , Oct 10 '01
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Poor photo quality
When you think digital these days you usually think quality. That's what the ad people want you to think at least. I've been wanting a digital camera for a long time so, when I saw this camera for sale at Walgreen's really cheap, I ran up and picked...

This deal is too good to be true...

by mylauw , Aug 10 '01
Pros: Great Price & takes ordinary batteries
Cons: Subject must be absolutely still. No flash.
I am in the same boat as the rest of you on a budget. I wanted to share pictures of my growing baby online and wanted the immediate feedback that digital cameras give you. I chose the PolaroidMax 320 based on price alone. Boy was it a mistake.

A Surprisingly Cool Camera Especially for the price

by nerys71 , Jun 23 '02
Pros: Fast - Light - Cheap - Self Repeating
Cons: Low Resolution - Twain Driver Sucks for slower Computers
Now before you say Wait you got a Coolpix 5000 and you think this camera is cool ?

Well that is entirely dependent on what you want to do with it. I like to fly ROCKETS and wanted a digicam to stick inside a rocket. Since rockets are prone...

Dont waste your money

by customizeit , Dec 26 '02
Pros: Cheap and easy to use.
Cons: Very Poor picture quality. Dont buy one!
No matter how inexpesive this camera is, you're not going to get your money's worth. Sure it is easy to use, with just the one button, and the uploading to the computer is easy to do, but one look at your results and you'll know why I say not to buy...

Polaroid 320 Digital Camera
by scraps ,May 09 '04
Pros: Lightweight, easy to use, inexpensive
Cons: No flash, poor picture quality, no zoom
I got this camera free through a QVC catalog. Free? Let's just say it's a reward system to where you can get free (cheap) stuff if you buy so many items from QVC over time. Anyway, when I first sent off for it, I didn't expect a whole lot, but when I first opened it, I expected more. To put it simply, I was partially disappointed. It wasn't until I saw the picture quality that I was almost fully disappointed. In order for the picture to be decent, it would have to be the perfect situation. The lighting would have to be flawless (don't EVEN try to take a picture in the dark with it!) In most cases, the pictures will turn out blurry and the color will be slightly off. It is a very inexpensive camera though and it is very easy to operate. The good hardly outweighs the bad. All in all it's not my camera of choice.

DIGITAL 320 PHOTO MAX FUN......
by mommiez_anjilz ,Jan 08 '06
Pros: Lightweight for sure...... Feels like there is NOTHING in this baby!
Cons: Cant be used 2 transfer pics on my XP-PRO? :'(
Hi all.....
I just wrote a comment, but, when I clicked on "Notify Me When Comments Come In", (B-4 I posted my comment) MY comment just DISAPPEARED? UGH
I wanted to know.....I have an "XP-PRO" & the camera instructions indicate that it requires a "95-98"? This true? Is there NO WAY 4 me 2 be able 2 use this, 2 transfer my pics 2 my puter?
The previous writer also stated that....there is a "MEMORY CARD" in this baby? Can someone PLEASE guide me 2 this area? Cause, 4 the life of me, I just CANNOT find it. I see the 9-Volt Battery Compartment, but, NO WHERE do I see a MEMORY CARD thingie? (Blonde Moment?)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Overall......I read ALOTTA comments on this camera. Read alotta the "Pro's * Cons"......I think that it would be a fine camera for the......"Not So X-Perienced Photographer". Um.....perhaps 4 a "Child"? Keeping in mind however that, I have NOT been able 2 Transfer ANY pics, therefore, there is NO WAY 4 me 2 be able 2 SEE the "Quality" of said pics? Afterall.....it DOES carry the "POLAROID" name.....right? ;)
Well....THANK-YOU ALL!
HAVE A NICE DAY & HAPPY CLICKING!
SHARYN
I got it at Target...
by roger_dt3005 ,Mar 31 '02
I got it at Target on sale for $25. For that I don't care how it works. It's a lot of fun to play with. The picture are low quality. The software is fun. It's not the camera that's hard to use, it's the the software these companys make that are hard for the novice. Roger
