Pros: Pretty easy to get started.  Good value.
Cons: XP Home.  TERRIBLE support.

Got the 1005HA.  I like the machine except for the touchpad (use a mouse instead).  However, Asus' tech support is miserable.  You will get an empty-headed person with your questions.  FOr example, I had a problem setting up the 'Eee Backup' service.  The first response of the technician was to do a system restore!  And, incidently, that was the same advice I had for another problem.   Getting a 'senior' techinician takes an act of supreme patience.  This is a good computer...if you never need help from the mfg.  And their User Manual is bare bones.
