Pros: It's small, easy to use, has a webcam, lots of memory and everything you need.
Cons: Finish shows finger prints, and a big tool bar on the browser.

         A hot item on the gadget market today is the new netbook. I thought they looked cool from commercials and reviews I've read So I decided to save up and invest in a brand new Asus Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X-BK Netbook...

Pros: small, price
Cons: Poorly built, slow, horrible service

I purchased an ASUS 1005AB 32 days ago.  Today the AC adapter died.  After several phone calls and long waits on hold, I found out that they have no adapters in stock.  In addition, they will not conisder replacing the adapter until I mail the defective adapter in and they verify it is broken.  I must pay to mail it in.  They will not have new adapters in for at least 1 1/2 weeks.  They state that it will take another 7-10 business days to process the request.

Finally,there is an unbelievable amount of advertising software and other SPAM type programs loaded on the machine, which slows it down incredibly.

Pros: light, reliable, good display
Cons: fingerprints

had it for about a month - I needed something minimal and lightweight for travel - no problems - it's exactly what I expected (I did considerable research before buying it) and I am very pleased - I bought the extra memory and it was worth the $ - I also bought the carrying case not knowing that it comes with zip-up cover - I may return the carrying case - the fingerprints on the sheel are unsightly but i can live with them
