Pros: Relatively inexpensive; folds; works entire ab area. Cons: Not necessary; not for the obese; can allow hyper-extensions.
Summary: When my friend asked me if I thought she should be the Ab Lounge by Fitness Quest for $175.00 I said yes. Since then I have used it and am happy to say she is using it. Why I said yes to her and perhaps I might have said no to someone else will be in ... read more

Pros: Fun and easy to use Cons: Not very heavy, wobbly
Summary: I am one to try anything once. And after my husband brought this beach chair of an ab workout for his tummy, I had to try it out for myself. Now, those of you who have read my reviews, know that a car hot my car last summer, and the seatbelt injured my ... read more

Pros: It gets you OFF the floor and takes the strain off your neck and back. Cons: The lack of proper handles and pedals, which is corrected in the newer version.
Summary: I have the original version of the Ab Lounge, but am seriously considering upgrading to the new version -- specifically for the addition of the Iso-Grips (for use with one's hands) and the foot pedals. I am already extremely pleased with the version I ... read more

Pros: Gets you off the floor. Cons: Just another gimmic.
Summary: I bought this when it first came out. Suckered by the "Guarentee" and promise of the "Free In Home Trail." I had recently went from 150 pounds to 120 pounds. A size 14 to a size 4! But my pooch just wouldn't get flat after having 2 kids. In my ... read more

Pros: Ease of use, great alternative to painful floor exercises. Cons: Manufactured by FitnessQuest, a company that exhibits zero concern in regard to customer service/satisfaction.
Summary: I lost about 65 pounds over the last year through healthy diet (calorie counting, aiming for between 1400 and 1500 calories a day, with one "splurge day" each week) and daily exercise of 1/2 an hour or more on an elliptical cross trainer. While I look ... read more

Pros: NONE!!!!! Cons: TOO MANY LITTLE PARTS. IT TAKES FOREVER TO PUT TOGETHER AND DOES NOT WORK.
Summary: What a waste of time and money. This is the worst piece of exercise equipment I have ever purchased. It has so many small pieces and it takes so much time and effort to put together. After all that work, it didn't work. There was no extension so

Pros: There really is nothing that is good about it, its a total waste of money! Cons: large, expensive, only one movement, wast of your time
Summary: After taking hours to put together, the ab lounge is large and highly difficult to store..when you think about it you can only do one exercise over and over and eventually, your body becomes accustomed to that and other exercises are needed. Also the

Pros: Comfortable aid in abdominal workouts Cons: Bulkier than advertised, some dis-assembly required to fold away
Summary: Using this equipment requires concentration on muscle usage. You can easily use the wrong muscles in your arms and your back instead of the abs you hope to slim and tone. Not ideal equipment for small rooms or apartments, it's quite

Pros: Reasonably priced. Sturdy. Cons: Can cause injury - talk to your doctor before purchasing.
Summary: I'm sure lots of folks have a good experience with this product. I just came back from the Physical Therapist, and realized that the lower back problems I now have started suspiciously around the same time I bought my AB Lounge. He explained that for a

Pros: GOOD STURDY LOUNGER Cons: NOT ABLE TO FOLD UP OR PUT INTO A CLOSET
Summary: HI, I JUST PURCHASED THE AB LOUNGER FOR 93.00 AT SAM/WALMART IT IS A VERY GOOD MACHINE TO USE TO WORK YOUR ABS IN ONLY A FEW REPS, YOU CAN FEEL IT WORKING, HOPEFULLY I WILL NOT GET BORED AND NOT USE IT, BUT FOR JUST STARTING OUT, IT SEEMS TO BE DOING

Pros: Easy on the back and neck, more effective than floor work, reasonable cost. Cons: Takes up a lot of space and does not (despite claims) fold away easily.
Summary: We've found the Ab Lounger to be a useful tool, although not a magic bullet in and of itself. My husband, who has no weight issues, has developed a nice toned sexy belly from daily use, and saw relatively fast results (about a month.) I still don't have

Pros: Cheap and readily available Cons: difficult to assemble, possibility for injury is very high!
Summary: Hi All, I started my exercise program with a treadmill that I got from Sears and that has been fabulous, but I started to notice my belly sagging when I started losing weight, so I felt I should shape it up. I have a prior back injury from 1988, but it

Pros: This machine works if you do it daily and watch what you eat. Cons: The footbar is out to far for shortpeople. Put something around bar to raise feet.
Summary: I have this and have used it faithfully 2-3 times a day. I have lost fat around the stomach area and it seems to be toning at the same time.

Pros: Great machine that allows you to focus on the hardest ab area with "minimum" effort Cons: 1. Bigger than I thought
2. Cannot be folded
Summary: Be realistic, don't think it will transform your body magically without effort and in no time. I persistently do 2 sets, 6 different exercises per set, and 12 rep per exercise. It takes about 20 min every other day. I am not sure if it's the right way
