Pros: Great product and good service. Comfortable. Cons: Memory foam is not as good as the Tempurpedic or Foamorder.com
Firstly, latex and memory foam mattresses in general are fantastic! They are definitely superior to the standard innerspring mattresses for comfort, spine alignment, circulation and pressure distribution.

Pros: Solid Cons: Caves in too early and smelly for the Versailles
After paying nearly 1500.00 for a queen sized mattress and box springs, one would assume that this magical mattress would last at least 5 years. Well, after lugging this very heavy mattress into my room, I was elated at the thought of my new mattress. ...
Pros: Latex is best! Cons: Fancy model is not so good
We have two abed latex mattresses bought in 2002: a Manchester, and the model one rung up in price from the manchester, forget the name now; neither are listed on their website anymore. The Manchester is a great mattress, just the right firmness for ...
Pros: Customer service was good. Cons: False advertising in rwegard to the conrents of the mattresses.
Bought an Ambrosia mattress at the Middletown,NY store about onr yr ago. After 6 months found the topping material came loose and was clumping under the body. Called the store, told they went into bankruptcy and couldn't help! One yr ...
Pros: Very comfortable bed. I've had it for 2 years now and it hasn't sagged. Cons: Pain to move this bed. It is really heavy. Fortunately they deliver for free.

Pros: Store manager gave better price & same return policy as offered online. Customer service complied. Cons: When I tried to return mattress, store manager would not return calls.
I did research on latex beds for months, then walked into a Dormia showroom. I lay down on the 'Legacy' which felt a little soft, but very comfy. I bought it with the condition that i can return for refund instead of exchange. 1st few days I loved it, ...
Pros: cheaper than normal mattress, light weight Cons: does not provide enough support
This matress tries to get the full sleep experience despite being just foam. It almost succeeds, but it still doesn't match up to what we are normally used to sleeping on. The main benefit of this mattress is weight. Weighing just a few pounds, it can be...
Pros: It felt comfortable for one week Cons: Essentially no warranty Foam quickly fails Terrible customer service
If you were in the market for the world's least comfortable bed, you need look no further then a bed made by Dormia. Although we purchased Dormia's top model, the Ultimate, and not the Ambrosia, we found nothing Ultimate about it except for the Ultimate ...
Lumps and Bumps After 18 Months by ldelgatto ,Mar 01 '04
Pros: Good salesman Cons: Developed lumps & sags after 18 months; weighs a ton; very difficult to move.
We bought the "Wellington" latex mattress as well, in April 2002 and LOVED it for the first 5 months. Then it was in storage for 11 months. Not long after we took it from storage we started noticing the "mountain" in the center. On the "mountain", the mattress is nice and firm. On either side (where we sleep), there are big, soft, sags. My husband is experiencing back pain from the sagging mattress. We are very disappointed and frustrated because we paid @$2000 for this mattress and were expecting at least 5-10 years w/o sags. Haven't contacted abed yet. Not sure anymore what was the warranty, etc. Plus, it weighs a ton and I cannot imagine how to return ship such an enormous, heavy item w/o a box.
i purchased the highest end Abed latex mattress - called the wellington - and it's been a year and a half now. the bed has sagged considerably on both sides with a big hump in the middle.
supposedly, the bed comes with a 20 satisfaction guarantee.
i called the company and expressed my dissatisfaction. i got the run around and finally a customer service rep gave me an email address for "bob" where i must now send a photo of the sagging bed with a 2x4 laying across the bed to show "if it really sags or not."
i have not yet taken the photo, but will post again when i get their response.
if i could, i'd prefer to have my $2000 back and go buy the posturpedic. considering this bed is in bad shape after 18 months, why a replacement will be any better after another 18 months is beyond me.
could i turn back time, i would not buy this product, and neither should you.
Pros: Great product and good service Cons: Fancy model isn't great
There are a few reviews about the Abed and I feel kind of in between on the issue. When I read the articles and I got one for myself it seemed like it would be a decent mat. Perhaps the price was a bit high and then I read that the topping material might loosen. When I compared this versus flobed or lmr I was struck by the amount of foam that is on this one in particular. If I was looking at http://www.latexmattressforum.com I would have been struck by the simplicity of this argument, a natural latex is really great! So I did get the ABED and I am relatively happy with it, though I agree maybe the topper could be better.
