Pros: Great picture, excellent price, physically looks nice, and biggest plus: P-MVA panel! Cons: Glossy screen can be annoying at times, separate power brick, construction could be better.
I was out looking for a well rounded monitor to surf the web, watch movies, do some amateur photo editing, and play occasional games. I didn't want to spend more than $300 and I didn't want to buy one of those TN LCD panels. TN panels have the worst ...

Great Value- Great Quality by johanna0507 ,Jun 11 '06
Pros: Cheap, high quality, slimline (no bits sticking out) Reliable Cons: Sometimes picture looses alignment - press autosynch to fix.
I have had 2 of these monitors for three months now, the 24" and the 20". Both are excellent and were the cheapest LCD options available. Despite this, the picture is excellent and there is absolultely nothing to complain about. The design is neutral, nothing special but not ugly. I think Acer has taken a sensible minimalistic approach to what functionality to include. The basics are there though, but for example it has no speakers built in. (I think this is a plus - I prefer free-standing speakers anyway. One less component that can break and cause trouble...) The input is VGA as opposed to the newer DVI - this is NOT a problem. If you happen to have a graphics card with only DVI, just buy a converter or a converter cable.
All in all I can recommend this monitor as excellent value for money without any reservations. I live in the UK and got mine from overclockers.co.uk.
