Pros: Max Payne + John Woo = awesome Cons: occasionally looks cheap, some framerate issues, only 6 hours long
John Woo Presents Stranglehold goes into the interesting genre of video-game movies that arent straight adaptations and is actually a nifty piece of work. Even though it only took me a paltry six hours to run through the game and it offers little ...

Pros: Entertaining, jaw-dropping explosions. Cons: Short single player experience, multiplayer is a bust.
Now I’m not going to sit here and tell you that John Woo is a brilliant filmmaker. I think arguments can be made that he knows how to put together an entertaining action flick albeit it may be missing some serious IQ. Stranglehold came onto the scene ...

Pros: loads of action, solid gameplay, great sound effects Cons: short, bland multiplayer, gets repetitive

Pros: John Woo movies meet video gaming in this outrageously violent shoot-em-up Cons: Gameplay is a 3 trick pony. Forgettable Multiplayer.
Stranglehold is based on a John Woo movie named Hard boiled which many of us Hong Kong action movie buffs have probably seen. The plot of the movie -like the plot of this game - focuses on the relationship between a cop and an undercover cop ...

Pros: animations are solid, and the showdowns are intense and very cool. Cons: The game just lacks polish in some areas (the sliding is odd). Not much fun.
This game was a rental of a friend of mine, and I got to sit down with it for a few hours and give it a good play through. Graphics: I actually thought many of the graphics and animations looked pretty good. Some of the character models could look ...
