Pros: Many uses, durable, easy to clean. Cons: Front panel snaps off during play sometimes.
I purchased the Fisher Price Activity Walker when my son was 10 months old. I looked at several different brands. The Fisher Price Activity walker was our second choice, the one I had wanted was sold out, but after getting this walker home and letting...

I purchase this activity center when my seven year old was only 1 and 1/2. I have let my family and friends borrow it and have used it through two more of my children who are now two and three.
The color is catchy in children eyes and...

Pros: light, wheels have wide base, foldable Cons: activity center has odd hinge design, and comes off easily
Although the "Activity" part of the Activity Walker didn't exactly hold up to the abuse my son gave it, it certainly did a great job with the "Walker" part, and that's what I care about most.
The Activity Walker is supposed...

Pros: inexpensive, simple activities Cons: not the most stable for lil'uns not good at pulling up
We bought this Fisher price activity walker for my daughter from the local consignment store. At the time she was just starting to learn to walk and I figured that she might like some practice with a fun toy. Just prior to our purchase of it, my...

Pros: Durable, functional, fun, educational Cons: I honestly can not think of one
I became acquainted with this toy for the first time in February of 1990. One of the families who brought their child to my in-home daycare gave me this walker.
It was love at first site. For me and for the children in my care!!

Pros: compact, entertaining Cons: none
My youngest daughter needed a little encouragement to brave walking on her own. (No, we didn't push her - she walked when she was ready at 13 months.) She just wasn't steady and couldn't get around to chase after her older sister the way she wanted. ...

Pros: Sturdy; good for pre-walkers Cons: Front toy panel pops off; limited use
Sarajoey is right on with her review of this walker.
We bought one for our daughter at about the 10-month-old stage when she was pulling herself up and cruising along the furniture but not venturing out into the middle of the room on her own...

Pros: foldable, grows with child, lots of activities Cons: one potential safety hazard
This has got ot be one of the greatest toys ever! I bought mine before my son could even crawl. I would lay it on the floor next to him and he was fascinated by the different shapes and colors, especially by the mirror! One of the best things about this...

Pros: Easy to assemble, many activities Cons: Front toy piece comes off easily
We purchased the Fisher Price Activity Walker when our youngest son was 10 months old. The reason we chose this toy was that I thought it may help him to learn to walk and walk easier once he started. For several weeks prior to purchasing this, he had...

Pros: none Cons: Too many too list
My sister bought this walker for my son at a local charity yard sale. Austen was not walking at the time, and she thought it would be a good way to give him some security while he was learning to walk. After playing with the product, my son has left...

Pros: Steady platform builds confidence. Flip-down toy panel/stroller extends useful life, folds flat. Cons: Minor quibbles about wheel traction and braking which can be easily remedied at home.
After looking at some of the contraptions advertised to help my son learn to walk, I am so glad that I chose this one!
However, if for some reason this walker is not for you or your child, I would suggest you also look at a wide-stance...
