Pros: breathability, appearance invites questions from others Cons: only if you use it not as designed: rock bruising, wet factor.
I am reviewing the climacool II, and I wanted to state that since I am aware of three generations already, but only see this general climacool shoe for review. I bought these about 6 months ago because I was intrigued with the concept (cushioned, ...
Pros: Durable, Breathable, Comfortable, and light Cons: mesh can get soaked a little easier than conventional shoes
Ever since I started running a four or five years ago, I've stuck almost completely to Adidas shoes. I've always been hard on my shoes, and every time I decided to go with a new balance or asics shoe I ended up being sorry. Either the upper tears, or ...
Pros: Durable
Comfort
Stable Cons: Mesh inserts wear down
Might hurt feet at first
I am a cross country running in South Dakota. I have had a pair of ClimaCool's for a year now. The shoe like in the name keeps your feet cool. I have noticed that the shoe has a perfect balance of comfort and control. The mid section of the shoe is made ...
Pros: Breathable, Good Fit, Price Cons: Forefoot Cushioning
After about a 10 mile break-in period, the ClimaCool has been a sufficient training shoe. Because the shoe breathes, it tends to be better to use in warmer weather, which is useful running here in TX. In the winter, my feet actually get cold. The heel...
Pros: light-weight, good ventalation, stable, sturdy, and comfordable Cons: Red track dies them easily.
I am on my third pair. I love them. They are extremely light-weight, good ventalation, stable, and comfordable. I have been running track for over 3 years now. With ankle problems, these shoes have done very well for me.
Pros: lightweight and cool without giving up the support Cons: don't run in the rain...the water goes right thru the vents!
I bought my first pair of climacool shoes about 2 years ago. I absolutely love them and now, I am on my 5th pair. These shoes are lightweight, my feet don't get sweaty, my toes don't get cramped up, and i get absolutely no blisters! I bought my first pair when i was recovering from shin splints. Since I have been climacools, i have had no shinsplints. My Climacools truly are the most comfortable pair of running shoes I have ever had. THey keep my feet comfortable, they provide great support and with all of the air that rushes through the climacool vents, i feel like my shoes have miniature built in air conditioners.
Best Ventilated Running Shoe by believe-it ,May 05 '05
Pros: Excellent Ventilation. Extremely light. Cons: Not good in wet conditions, cold temperatures.
I bought a pair of the Adidas Climacools from Eastbay about a year ago and am extremely satisfied with them. First off, they are the lightest, coolest(literally) shoes I've ever owned. I also liked the laces as they were stretchy, and did not untie easily. The only negatives of the shoe are the lack of support and warmth but again it is designed to be for light running not for heavy conditions. And the price that I purchased them for ($50) was very affordable as well. Definitely would buy again.
