Pros: They are easy to find Cons: I suppose they-re pricey but all good things are.
This shoe is a soccer staple and no locker/bag/closet should be without. I lost my last pair and just haven't felt the same about any other shoe, right now I am saving up for another pair. If you are (or have the spirit of)a D-1 player, you have to have a real shoe and this is it.
Pros: Awesome Balance, no stress on knee and heels
great control of ball Cons: wet/ raining the screw in shoes give a better grip
Why is this shoe the best?
Its only 85 - 90 $, its not made of some fancy colored super scientific material...
Here are my reasons
I have bought so many different shoes
175 $ nike , 200$ puma , 190$ addidas predator
you which shoe is the best - ADIDAS COPA MUNDIAL
We dont play in high quality soccer fields where the grass is even and thick . for common people playing on average/ bad fields this shoe gives you
better balance
doesnt hurt or stress your heels and knees
very comfortable and great control of ball.
and
Put the emphasis on your skills and not the cost of the shoe. Dont buy a 175$ nike shoe that Henry uses in an average field, those shoes have very high heel studs and its does not provide a good balance unless you play in a high class professional soccer field
Copa Mundial - The Art of Performance by gunnerboy68 ,May 07 '08
Pros: Moldable almost immediately, durable. Cons: None
I've played the Beautiful Game for 32+ years - recreational, Select, High School, and College. I purchased my first (and only) pair of Copas in 1988. They've lasted through 20 years of continual play, including the daily battering of my last two years of college, and are still on my feet today as I play in the Over 40 league. With proper care, these things will last.
I purchased my boots 1 size smaller than my regular shoe size. They molded to my foot almost immediately and have become a second skin that gives me unparalleled touch and control. The leather is still as supple as the day I purchased them. Take care of them, and they will reward you on the pitch.
The simple design of the shoe is the difference. Less is definitely better in the case of the Copa. My Kangaroo Diadoras, albeit a good pair of boots, don't give me the same feel as my Copas.
I've played in Pumas, Patricks, Nikes, and Diadoras, but no shoe has ever come close to the comfort, feel, and durability of my Copas. Get 'em.
Pros: Kangroo Leather very stable and durable. Very cheap for the quality Cons: Is a heavy cleat weighs apprx. 11.7 oz.
The Copa Mundial Cleat is one of the oldest cleats in soccer today, but yet is still one of the best. It is fully lined with kangaroo leather with an extended tongue. Additional leather supports extending from the heel provides and increase in durability and stability. This cleat is best used on firm, dry natural fields.
I have trusted this cleat for a number of years always repurchasing it. It has never let me down and I have progressed in my career greatly starting from a youngster and now I am captain of my schools varsity team.
