Pros: I don't see any advantage to this frame. Cons: Too difficult to put together. Need to use with sticky mattress.
I bought the frame to use with the Deluxe Aero Bed. The frame is complicated
to assemble and still doesn't raise you off the ground to standard bed height. The main problem is the mattress slips around on the frame. I tried to figure out a way to keep it on the frame, but in the end, when I buy a product, I want it to be fairly easy to assemble and I want it to work well. I also appreciate good customer service and so far I haven't received that from the "Think Aero" company.
I am trying to send the product back, but it is not sold in retail locations so it has to be shipped. The company sends out a mailing label, but does not cover shipping charges. I checked with both USPS and UPS and it will cost $40 to ship it back to the company, which is half as much as it cost to begin with.
Think Aero, I think not!
I will let you know if anything good comes of this situation.
Pros: Raises mattress off floor – easier to get in and out of. Cons: Difficult to assemble, lots of pieces, not enough support for queen mattress, no storage bag.
Mine was just delivered today. I just finished assembling it -- what a chore! My wife and I were quite humored over the whole process. We couldnt help but laugh at the silliness of the whole thing. I expected it to be some easy fold out frame, not the case. It was more like putting together a puzzle, lots of pieces. Jeez, what were those engineers thinking? Perhaps it was a summer intern project, who knows.
And to make matters worse, it was not a joy to lay on once we threw the mattress on it. We both jumped on and rolled right towards the middle. Not enough underside support for a queen mattress.
Hopefully I can send this back, havent looked at the return policy yet. Until I find or build something better, the air mattress is going back on the floor -- my guests deserve better than that.
