Pros: Comfortable and easy to inflate. Cons: Poor quality, splits along seams, only good for a season.
Bought this to use while living in apartments. Was living overseas and needed a portable mattress to use for the several months I was back in the USA. Worked great the 1st time I used it, which was for about 4 months. Then put it in storage (carefully ...
Pros: Light-weight. Comfortable sleeping. Cons: Very basic design flaws. Unfortunately for us they have very good advertising.
Two years ago I needed a light-weight twin mattress I could store upright, then carry to my sleeping area in my studio apartment. I saw one Aero mattress on the Home Shopping Network and ordered it. It was the model with the so-called built-in pillow. ...
Pros: comfortable, inflates easily, deflates quickly (which is great when you want it to) Cons: leaks when used for an extended period of time
I bought our raised Aero Bed last year for overnight guests, and was really pleased with the purchase. We kept it up in the spare room, and it stayed inflated the whole year. My 3 sons who are all in the military used it at different times for up to 3 ...
Pros: Reliable, Easy to set-up, Guests seem to like it.. Cons: Price is a little steep, it can still can pop.
I purchased two original twin-sized Aerobeds a few years ago, figuring they would offer my houseguests a little more comfort than the couch or worse, the floor. My AeroBeds haven’t just come in handy exclusively for my houseguests, but have also ...
Pros: Quick set up, easy to use and store, good material, relatively comfortable Cons: Just relatively comfortable
I purchased one of these a few years ago while residing in a one bedroom apartment. Heck, if I wanted to have an overnight guest- at least one who was not shacking up with me- it was either going to be the couch or the floor. Most choose the couch over ...
Pros: ease in inflating and deflating, price point Cons: ability to hold inflation and keep it. Will eventually fail.
hello, I have the same experience to report re: Aerobed's quality. I liked the firmness adjustability and price point. However, the bed does not stay firm for too long. Mine started losing its ability in a month. Don't waste your money on this, nor the shipping cost. All their products seem to have this defect- I've bought 2 mattresses and 1 mattress pad. I also hate the built-in pillow feature- gave me a neck ache.
Waste of money, too many leaks! by barkley999 ,Mar 26 '04
Pros: None Cons: Leaks will drive you crazy!!!!!!
I bought a twin size Aero Bed about 1 year ago at Bed, Bath and Beyond. After only a couple of months it began to leak at the dimple seams. I repaired six "pin hole" sized leaks before getting fed up as it developed more leaks and I ran out of patches and glue!
I contacted Bed, Bath and Beyond and they gave me a replacement for free!!!!!!!
This time I even put a blanket under the bed before inflating it and the leaks are UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!
I believe it is just a good old design flaw with the dimple seams.
I have repaired six different leaks in the last four days and it leaked again last night. It is nothing but trash now. I feel like I'm throwing $100.00 in the garbage!
Cons: Poorly constructed product High priced Terrible customer service Terrible warranty
After reading good reviews about this product I purchased a raised comfort guest bed from smart bargains. Recently had a newborn baby and had many guest in town visiting. Third night being used....Half the bed "broke" it lost it's support and over inflated. My guests spent the rest of their time here at a hotel. Wait...it get's better. I call aerobed to file for warranty. It takes them 10 days to process my warranty exchange. 10 days is totally outrageous. Wait...it gets better. They sent me a replacement...however it's the WRONG BED! They send me a single, not a full size bed! Not done yet.....I call Aerobed and they are totally non-apologetic to my situation (four guests in 3 weeks staying at hotels...). They say they will overnight a new bed to me. 10 more days...NO BED!!!! After numerous calls to customer service they finally figure out that the bed was out of stock and there is nothing they can do. Totally avoid this company with every inch of sanity! They are out to make a profit by selling bad products with worse customer service. A horrible, horrible expensive mistake. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
Pros: Most comfortable sleep I have ever had. Cons: Leaks, leaks, leaks.
This is probably the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. The problem is that it doesn't last. I bought one and fell in love with it. After a month it sprung a leak. I patched it but the flocking prevented the patch from holding. I sent it back & it was replaced free of charge. While I was waiting for the replacement I bought another at a discount warehouse store. It too sprung a leak after less than a month. I got the replacement. Same deal...always on the seams of the dimples. The design is terribly flawed. Pity. They are not inexpensive.
Gone down the tubes - literally by suprajunkie ,Aug 25 '09
Pros: None unless you only need a bed for 1-2 days Cons: Weak design, leaks and Worst Customer Service Ever..
I purchased a Premier Comfort Plus Full Sized bed and used it for about 3 weeks. It started leaking as many others reported. I found the hole was near a pillow seam so I patched it. Then it sprung a new hole even larger on the next pillow over and the seams at the pillows all started popping causing them to stick out like large pimples that you could not sleep on. Contacted Aero and they asked me to cut up the old bed and send the piece to them. They then sent me a new BED but as happened to others it was the WRONG Bed. Not the same nicer model I had purchased - a cheaper version. Contacted them, they told me they would send a UPS call tag and ship out a new replacement. Never came. Tried to call them on the phone and waits hours with no answer. Sent emails, they said they would check on it and never responded. If they are not out of business they should be. Weak product with terrible customer support ethic means the company is doomed to failure...I'll never buy another or recommend to anyone..
AeroBed leaks; it's a waste of money by vi9deo ,Sep 22 '05
Pros: Our dogs enjoy it in its perpetually half-inflated state. Cons: It leaks.
It leaks, and since we can't find the leaks, we can't repair them. Really a crummy product, esp. as it was never comfortable, and only lasted eight months.
Pros: nothing "pro" about it Cons: impossible to keep inflated
I just purchased an Aero Sport All Terrain Bed with Dual Power Pump. It seemed like a good deal on line. I tried it out on a three night camping trip this past weekend and it was awful. I couldn't keep the bed inflated for much more than an hour. We ended up exhausting the fully charged dual power pump and had to back the car up close to the tent in order to use the (only 6' long) AC cord. No matter what I did, the mattress would not hold air for longer than an hour before my butt would hit the ground. After about two hours I was flat on the ground. I'm sending this thing back ASAP for a refund.
aerobed terrible investment by dany1234 ,Aug 08 '04
Pros: none Cons: they dont last long enough for the investment
My husband and I bought an aerobed 3 months ago. The first time we used it was a very nice experience and we thought it as a good investment. We couldnt be more wrong. The second time we tried to use it was losing the air.
If you are planning to keep this bed around for a while you are better of saving your money. This beds dont last.
Company Does Not Back Product by saldeen ,May 31 '04
Pros: None Cons: Poorly engineered and constructed product.
After using an queen size Aero Bed for about a month, we noticed that the sides were bulging and the fitted queen sheets would no longer fit. A phone call to the company revealed that they were aware of the problem "the internal coils are uncoiling", but only offered a 30% discount if we would purchase a new bed, and there was no guarantee that a new bed would not develop the same problem. Buyer beware!
