  • Aero Bed Deluxe Mattress: One of my smarter purchases

    Nov 21 '06
Pros: Blazing fast set-up, very comfortable, easy storage, surprisingly durable
Cons: Given what it is, none really

Summary: I can’t remember just how many years ago I saw my first infomercial for the Aero Bed. It looked interesting, but at the time we had so many bedrooms and beds it wasn’t really something we needed. But with the oldest Xeno girls out of the ... read more

  • No More Blowing into One of These.

    Feb 14 '09
Pros: Lightweight and durable and easy to maintain.
Cons: If you don't watch out there is a possibility that you could puncture this.

Summary: If you all of a sudden have unexpected guests arrive at your house and you do not have another bed for them to sleep on, then this is the most economical mattress to purchase and set up for them to sleep on.  For right around $60-$70, you can have ... read more

  • So comfortable I tossed out my regular mattress!

    May 02 '07
Pros: Perfect back and body support, perfect comfort, affordable, and durable!
Cons: Might not work as well for heavy people, must keep away from sharp objects.

Summary: This bed is amazing- not only does it make a quick and handy guest bed, but it also makes a fine "regular" bed too! It perfect for people who have back problems- I used to have trouble sleeping every night because my spring mattress started sagging after ... read more

  • Leaks, leaks, leaks

    Jul 20 '06
Pros: Cheaper than a regular mattress Easy to setup/deflate and carry around
Cons: Develops leaks quickly Does not maintain shape

Summary: I bought this aerobed for guest use at home and occasionally take it out camping. Within 2 weeks of using it, the bed started curving upwards like crazy (maybe it was a good thing because nobody would ever roll off the bed). Then it developed a leak at ... read more

  • Bed was a nightmare from start to finish. A complete waste of $.

    May 29 '05
Pros: Inflates quickly and easily. The mattress cover was a nice inclusion. Nifty little pouch.
Cons: Poor design, inferior materials. Impossible to patch. Service dept. wouldn't own problem.

Summary: Someone out there in the cosmos must be chuckling over the irony that a bed can keep you up nights. I took a temporary assignment in a new town a while back. I was unsure if I wanted to move my furniture out so I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and purchased ... read more

  • Most comfortable of beds - but not the welds tend to leak

    Apr 02 '05
Pros: Easily the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on.
Cons: Leaks or blowouts are inevitable and numerous in every one I've owned.

Summary: I've been through 2 aerobeds now, and am on my third. The first one I had was meant to be a spare bed but I found it more comfortable than my regular mattress and it soon replaced it entirely. I have never slept on anything more comfortable. Had a ... read more

  • Deluxe Solution

    Oct 28 '04
    Pros: inflate and deflate easily
    Cons: odor, price

Summary: When my husband had back surgery, I thought our days of camping were gone. We have always taken the kids camping in the summer, the more rustic the better. (Well for them anyway). I thought we were losing a big part of our summers and a whole lot of ... read more

  • I finally have a spare bed

    Oct 05 '04
Pros: Comfortable, no leaks, and easy to store
Cons: Not so easy to pack in the included bag, has "warm spots"

Summary: I purchased this so I wouldn't have to deal with the hassle (and the cost) of having a full-size bed that I'd only need a couple of times a year. I was a little worried about how I would like it after having spent time on a friend's air mattress, but ... read more

  • I use my Deluxe Aerobed EVERY night! 3 years +

    Mar 16 '04
Pros: Portable, easy to set up and put away. COMFORTABLE!
Cons: The mattress doesn't last forever! I replace mine yearly.

Summary: I've tried standard mattresses, futon, water bed, foam mattress - nothing allows me to sleep pain free night after night. Nothing except my Aerobed. Really! I find it to be the most comfortable mattress I have ever had the pleasure to use. I've put ... read more

  • Should have included more rubber cement

    Mar 07 '04
Pros: Nice, great pump, good seals.
Cons: NOT a permanent solution. Develops leaks even when used per instructions. A HEADACHE!!!

Summary: I purchased the Queen Size Deluxe as a cheap alternative to a mattress. I use it in a waterbed frame (due to apartment, can't use actual waterbed bladder), and it fits nicely. I was enjoying it a lot, and thought this was the best of all worlds. ... read more

  • Make My AeroBed Deluxe!

    Dec 21 '03
    Pros: Comfortable, easy, and convenient...
    Cons: Expensive...

Summary: Air mattresses are not exactly the most interest of items. There are about a bazillion choices in models, but usually the “best” can be found from the brand AeroBed. They aren’t cheap, they don’t come in fancy colors, nor do they a emit lovely ... read more

  • Sleeping on air

    Mar 13 '03
Pros: Very east setup, doesn't take up a lot of storage space
Cons: low to the ground & hard for older people to use

Summary: I bought my Aerobed last Christmas to handle the extra people staying at my house over the holidays. I bought this product in a full and one in a twin size. I was amazed at how easy to set up this bed is. Just plug it in and it inflates in less than 2 ... read more

  • More comfortable and easy to set up than most sofa-beds/futons

    Sep 19 '02
Pros: VERY comfortable for an inflatable mattress. Quick setup.
    Cons: None really.

Summary: I got this mattress almost two years ago when friends of mine were coming to visit me. After looking around on the web, I decided to go with this one; I didn't want a cheap plastic one which made squeaky noises all night or led the person on it to slide ... read more

  • College Kids, Grandparents, Guests, Out of Town Relatives ~ AeroBed to the rescue!

    Jun 24 '02
Pros: VERY easy to set up COMFORTABLE to sleep on!
Cons: Takes a bit of work to get small enough for the carry bag

Summary: We go camping, the REST of the family LOVES it! Me? Well I'm more of the thinking that a vacation means no cooking and/or cleaning so camping is not on the top of my list! It's actually funny then that between the two types of ... read more

  • Convenient, but not worth it

    Jun 01 '02
    Pros: convenient, quick
Cons: doesn't last very long before something major goes wrong

Summary: We bought several different models of the Aero Bed, and finally just gave up on trying after this "Deluxe Bed" They advertise on TV that these beds are suitable for everyday use as a regular bed, but after no more than 3 months it would no longer ... read more
