Pros: inflates fast, comfortable, easy to use. Cons: none
I used to have a colemen inflateable bed, but it broke real quik and it sucked because you had to blow it up by mouth and it took forever. So when it broke, I wanted the aerobed.
I bought the aerobed because it had a motor to inflate itself...

Pros: None as of yet Cons: Cheap Plastic parts easily break.
Use it, break it, seems to be the way it works.
The plastic tab which keeps the deflation valve closed breaks very easily. My parents broke after the second use.
I purchased one that came broken. Once the piece breaks
kiss your money...

Pros: Stowable. Great when you don't have a permanent space to devote to a guest bed. Cons: Air release valve needs redesign-
breaks easily and is hard to operate.
The full size mattress was very uncomfortable until I placed a 2" foam pad from our camper on top. Much better.
My chief complaint is the air release valve. Mine arrived from the internet merchant with a broken tab on the hard plastic valve, which...

Pros: comfortable, quick setup & take down, portability Cons: mediocre quality, leaks develop
I've owned 3 twin size originals. They initially perform as advertised: quick to inflate or take down, reasonably comfortable. I sleep on mine every night. It's a great idea, but all of mine failed in the 10 - 18 month range. Seams fail and it leaks....

Pros: Comfortable, instant bed Cons: none come to mind
My parents slept on this bed (ages 56 and 63) and both have back and hip problems. Each told me the Aerobed was extremely comfortable. Other guests have complemented us on it as well. I am told it is way more comfortable than a futon. It's always nice...

Pros: Sleeps well and easy to set up Cons: Very expensive doesn't stay inflated
We have had our bed for 2 years now and so have 2 of our friends. We have all purchased them in different places. One through QVC, one at a retail store and one at Bed, Bath and Beyond and we all have had problems with them!
Two of the beds...

Pros: inflates quickly, stores easily Cons: cheaply made, deflates on it's own, dump valve breaks easily.
The cute little model in the infomercials will have you ordering one of these expensive extra beds in a hurry. The second time we used it, the dump valve broke off, rendering the mattress totally useless. The first time we used it, we found it to be very...

Pros: 3min blow-up time Make it once; lean against wall daily Approved by 70yr old dad Cons: None so far.
When my 70 yr old dad came to visit me in my little Bay Area apartment, I had no question that he would stay with me and not at a hotel. He never pays for a hotel in a town with family, and besides I like to have him here in the house for morning ...

Great bed however no manfacturer repair support
by robt8179 ,Oct 11 '05
Pros: Great bed however no manfacturer repair support Cons: however no manfacturer repair support
Great bed, raised queen. Needed a gust bed as I have a 2 bedroom townhouse. I purchased the bed at a local linens chain. When purchased it worked perfectly and did not lose inflation.
However my bed is just over a year old and has been used less than 30 nights and now there is a leak or leaks, It has always been used within a house on clean floors and promptly packed away when the stay ended. There has not been any pets at the locations where it has been used. I just checked the manufacture's web site and it does not provide any information on how to or even if the bed can be fixed. I have made sure the end plug seal is clean but it does not make a difference.
While still less than a hotel room I expected it to last longer or that the manufacturer would support the product with a repair service

Comfortable Bed But....
by bjbgwa ,Aug 12 '09
Pros: VERY comfortable even for extended use. It was also easy to use. Cons: It seems that the baffles need to be made stronger or something.
The Aerobed is one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. The only problem is that the last two I have had, over the past three years, have popped thier baffles. We do use them every weekend. Also, since it happened both times within the warrantee period, they did replace them. Thankfully they have a good warrantee.

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!
by chynna86 ,Jan 25 '08
Pros: Inflates fast, can adjust firmness Cons: Very uncomfortable, sheets don't fit well.
We purchased a Aerobed in case of an emergency. Big Mistake. This bed is very uncomfortable and I didn't sleep too well. It might be alright if you buy a mattress topper for it. The bed is also short. The sheets don't fit well. I would have slept better in a sleeping bag. Save yourself some money and don't buy this. It does inflate good and you can adjust the firmness. Its also easy to move around.

Seal Busted with only minimum usage.....
by milkedconsumer ,May 29 '09
Pros: Easily inflated Cons: Construction is terrible.....MANUFACTURER DEFECT DEFINITELY!!! DO NOT PURHCASE...
This is bed is worthless. A waste of hard earned $$$ people do not have money to throw away on hot air. We take GOOD care of anything we buy. I would put a heavy weight blanket on the hardwood floor just to keep my air mattress real clean. But just like everyone else our airbed sprung a leak in the seal. We bought several repair kits but nothing held because it was in a seam around the circle that is stamped on the bed. Worthless...try another brand. A true waste.

Don't buy aerobed!
by gailden ,Jul 12 '06
Pros: Easy to inflate, comes with nice accessories, easy to store and carry. Cons: Product fails easily and cannot be replaced after one year.
We bought a queen size with the bottom part inflated in addition to the top. We had it as an extra bed in my parents' home and used it rarely. The first time it split in the seam, we were told it could not be repaired, but they sent us a whole new bed. When it happened again, after only a few more uses, they refused to help at all. It was out of warranty (but only about 2 years old) but had been used less than 10 days. So pretty much, if the seam splits after one year, you are out about $200.
