Leave the Aiwa at Home

by Walkere , Apr 16 '01
Pros: Works with existing radio; nice, compact interface
Cons: Skips, error-prone, hard to install, not perfect quality
I bought a used Camaro about two months ago, and the first thing I looked into was getting a CD player to go with it. The tape deck was busted, so I couldn't use the converter on my discman, so I went on over to Best Buy and I checked out the...

Pros: Saves you money if you don't want to buy a deck or if you don't want to get a changer through your car dealer
Cons: Sound quality is not "perfect" because it runs through the radio but I haven't noticed any problems
If you're looking to for a great cd changer without having to worry about a new deck and whether it's going to fit or not then look no further than this Aiwa FM-60 cd changer. It's FM modulated which means that it is connected through you radio and...

Pros: Reasonably priced, relatively easy to install and requires no changes to current stereo system
Cons: Slow to change discs, broke after 3 months!!

Cheap for a reason

by hustedt , Apr 13 '02
Pros: Cheap Easy to uninstall
Cons: Very badly distorted treble
I originally purchased this AIWA CD changer because of the low price. It was easy to install and use. I replaced it recently because I was tired of the very bad sound quality from this CD player. I've never heard CD's sound so awful. Any distinct treble...

AIWA does it again!

by texanMAK , Feb 04 '00
Pros: easy installation and good sound
Cons: haven't found any yet!!
If you are looking for a CD changer and not a new head unit for your car stereo, this is the product you want. The AIWA FM Modulator unit allows you to direct a signal from the actual changer into your current stereo in order to play CD's (in this case...
