Great Discman... And It Can Help Save Your Life!

by DrainOWHAT , Jan 06 '01
Pros: sounds, BASS, options and features and gadgets
Cons: absent
This is a fine quality item for the cost. I have owned this discman for about 6 months now and as I took the time to reflect back upon all of the joyous music it brought to my ears over the months, I found that I couldn't find a darn thing wrong with it....

Finally, Music in the Car!

by 4rhodes Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Feb 09 '01
Pros: great sound, lightweight, inexpensive
Cons: skips when car kit jack is pushed.
I drive a 1989 Volvo. I'm madly in love with the car. The car stereo died about 5 years ago and my husband replaced it with an awesome system, except it only plays cassettes! (You can stop shuddering now!)

by timwdegner , Oct 28 '02
Pros: Great sound, powerful bass, compact, many features, inexpensive, comes with nice car kit
Cons: I'll let you know if I ever think of any. :)
I believe I can honestly say that I made a great choice on April 21, 2001 — I bought an Aiwa XP-V516C personal CD player at Target for $53.

by imgood , Jun 30 '01
Pros: good features, great battery life
Cons: headphones are not great, features tricky to use.
I have had bad luck with disk-mans for the last 5 years, every year my cd players would just stop working, or the buttons wouldn't work. Every time was something new. I couldn't bring myself to buy a expensive cd player because I am a cheap person. (yes...

Fits best in my car

by artlady , Oct 28 '00
Pros: Compact, easy to control
Cons: Top hard to open
My new car came without a CD player, but I have come to love the sound and convenience of CD's. I chose this model because it was smaller and less bulky than the Sony Discman that my son uses, AND it fits in the console between the front seats. I really...

Pros: durability and has good anti-skip.also has good bass
Cons: uses batteries up quick and headphones aren't the best.It is worth it.
The aiwa cd player model XP-V516C is a great cd player. It has a great durability when dropped on concrete, cement, and asphalt. The reason that I know that is because I have dropped mine on those things and my cd and batteries came out but still when I put...
