A gem amongst mediocre players (UPDATED Sept 23/02)

by trounce , Aug 24 '02
Pros: Small cds, so small player. Great, backlit remote. Great accessories and recharger. Sounds amazing!
Cons: Flimsy plastic, opening player shuts off music, not loud enough
I took my Koss Portable MP3 Player back to Radio Shack after taking it to Cuba and discovering it just wasn't for me. It had no "hold" button; that is imperative. As well, the directory system was just terrible. Finding the name of a song in the 16th...

Nicely implemented mini CD/MP3 player

by DrMobots , Dec 17 '02
Pros: Uses MP3 tags, folder navigation, wired remote, size, well designed, well made.
Cons: CDs burned by Linux tools using defaults do not work.

Increadible

by dzhedaj , Dec 20 '02
Pros: Small, light, many features and stuff included
Cons: The lid opens very easily
I've received my player just yesterday, but I've already listened for it for more than 3 hours. In fact I'm listening to it as I'm writing this.
The size of the player is really great, much smaller than normal cd player and you can fit over 40 mp3...

The best thing since sliced bread.

by smille76 , Feb 21 '04
Pros: Small, affordable media, sturdy construction, user-friendly technology.
Cons: Will skip under severe jogging, unit lid will open easily if you are not careful.
I wanted someting very portable to take with me to the gym. I hesitated between a MiniDisc player, a regular CD-MP3 player or a MP3 player. 6 months later, I can say that I made the best choice. I am very pleased so far with this player, it really ...

Great little player

by electricfan , Sep 15 '02
Pros: Small, long battery life, excellent build quality, excellent sound quality, excellent design
Cons: None
I bought this as a replacement for a broken Smart Media based MP-3 player and I've got to tell you this is one great little player.

I found the biggest drawback to the flash memory type MP-3 players was the hassle of downloading music to the...
