An Alpine orphan

Pros: Ergonomically fairly well-designed. The 7872 sounds good.
Cons: Expensive. The display is hard to read in bright sunlight.
I don't know why Alpine manufactures this radio, which is almost identical to yet more expensive than the 7870, yet is not much cheaper than the 7874, which is significantly better. Perhaps Alpine had some quota to meet on the number of models they...

not bad for pricing

Pros: Great replacement for factory head units
Cons: hard to see in daytime..
nice looking unit ,also decent sound production overall a quality head unit with above better than average performance seriously consider this unit . well worth the dollars..this was my first head unit i chose and i'am truly glad.. solid range ,cd...
