Good HU
by ferrari8600 ,Jul 22 '05
Pros: Plays CD's AM/FM/MP3 Cd's with no trouble, great buy! Cons: Not the MOST advanced, but for the price, its great!
Good Head unit indeed. It's not the best on the market, but if all you want to do is play CD's, and AM/FM and even MP3 CD's, and have a trusted brand like Alpine. Then this is your Head unit to buy. Works great, looks great, not to pricey and it really does get the job done.
Detachable face, CD slot (you don't have to fold down the face to put the CD in) bass control in easy reach.

Best Receiver for the Money!
by timothy86 ,Jul 20 '06
Pros: High RMS
Lots of power
CD player never skips Cons: Hard to see in sunlight
This Alpine head unit is the best you can get for your money. I was going to buy the panasonic because it had a higher RMS but got the Alpine instead. It plays like you wouldn't believe!
Compared to the factory radio in my Honda Civic it plays much louder and you can tell more power is going to the speakers. The buttons and the layout is great too, you don't even need to look at the unit when driving.
It was easy to install an came with the required equipment. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good headunit.
I run Infinity speakers off this and it sounds great!
