Pros: Great sound. Great price. Cons: Can't think of one yet.
I was doing an online search for a new speaker system to replace my old ACS22 when I came across this particular model priced below $35. I was initially eyeing that rather impressive looking ATP3 system at the local Best Buy store but was disappointed...
Pros: Great Price, design is pleasing on desktop Cons: subwoofer should be more powerfull, alot of wires
I got these on sale for only $12 at Staples after mail in rebate. I was somewhat skeptical of the quality if they were on sale that much, but after I tried them it just proves to me that if you can get something cheap at a store, it doesn’t always mean...
Pros: Great sound capabilities, easy to setup, powerful overall. Cons: Subwoofer isn't very bassy.
I got these speakers bundled with my computer system when I bought it new in September. I did not actually request these exact speakers however I am very pleased with what I was given.
The Altec Lansing AVS300 is overall an excellent quality...
Pros: Crisp sound, ease of set-up, volume control Cons: Can't find any!!
I bought this set last night. I have run every genre of music, that I can think of, through them. For $30, they are truly unbeatable. They have a clean crisp sound on the high end; the satellites do a great job. The bass, for a bass freak like myself...
Pros: Great sound and design Cons: Haven't found one yet
Why I have them
I usually start my reviews with the reason that I have the product in question, and with the AVS 300 it is a funny story. I wanted a new computer, so I built my own to get away from the HP Pavilion I had. I tried to...
Pros: Good bass and overall sound quality.
Price. Cons: Slightly clipped midrange.
I bought a set of AVS300s a few weeks ago to upgrade an old set of generic speakers on my PC and, honestly, I wasn't expecting much - I just wanted something that was a little better than I had.
Pros: affordable, compact and trendy design, subwoofer included, separate controls for sub Cons: speakers cannot operate alone without a dreadful decrease in sound quality
As soon as I set foot in my college dorm room and started downloading music from the various sources on the 'net (gotta love the network connection speed), I came to the realization that the speakers in my laptop computer just aren't good enough. Don't...
Pros: Speakers provide a great, "fill the room" sound for a low price. Cons: No Headphone Jack, Short Cords
This is a nice, 3-piece speaker set. The two main speakers are about the size of a softball, and the woofer is about the size of a car battery. They provide a wonderful, rich sound that "fills the room."
2 Problems:
1. These speakers do not...
Pros: Great sound, Great price, volume and power on speaker Cons: Left speaker is "hard-wired" to the right speaker
Recently the speakers I had started to not really work as good as it should. I've had it for a few years so I figured it would be a good time to get another set. I started to look around and really became interested in these speakers. Not only for the...
Pros: Inexpensive, great sound Cons: None as of yet
I purchased these after returning a Cyber Acoustics 3-Piece Speaker System.
My old Altec Lansing speakers finally went out after 3 years, and I was looking for something with the same sound quality for the same price. This speaker set is the...
Pros: Decent 2.1 speakers for under $30, better than most speakers in this price range Cons: Overpowering sub in low volumes, underpowered sub in high volumes
After having a nice set of 2-way speakers for my PC for quite some time now, I was wondering what options I have in this new day in age. Although 4.1 and 5.1 speakers came to mind, I would hate to find a way to arrange the rear speakers (as most people...
Pros: Great Price, Excellent Sound and Bass, Stylish Cons: At low Volume Bass overpowers Satellites, High Volume Satellites overpower Subwoofer
I purchased the Altec Lansing AVS300 2.1 Speakers about 2 years ago, and have been completely satisfied by them time and again. When my Compaq Branded JBL's died on me, and I didn't have much cash to spend, but I wanted some boom for my my buck. I found the Altec's at Staples for a mere $35, and after hearing them, I had to have them. They compliment my Compaq's rounded look, and don't take up much space. The only con I have with these speakers are: At high Volume the Satellites overpower the Subwoofer, and at Low Volume the Subwoofer overpowers the Satellites. But, I still love these speakers, in fact I picked up another paid a week ago, used w/out the Subwoofer, but non the less, I'll have an extra pair, if mine ever die.
Pros: small, not bad looking & great sound Cons: none
Purchased 1/6/2002. These $40 speakers have hit the mark on quality for your money. After moving into our house we were on the prowl for a nice set of speakers for a good price. After looking at several different price ranges of speakers we decided to give these a try. What a decision- I love it when you buy something that you can be proud of & not feel like you wasted your money.
**I give these an A+ for sound & quality of the product**
Pros: Easy installation, bass and volume control, look, low priced Cons: Not the heart thumping bass type.
I bought this speaker of 20$ and I am not sure if these speakers are still in circulation.
This is a fine 2.1 set, I have also seen performance of couple of other slightly higher priced 2.1 speaker, I don't think there is any noticeable difference between the quality. I listen to music quite often and I am happy with the performance and quality. Though both the speakers are hardwired. They have a good probably 3 feet wire between them (remember they are computer speakers).
I definitely recommend.
