I have had the Amana ADB1500AW for just under 2 years and the control board is junk.      Reading the reviews, I see it is common.  

Pros: Attractive appearance.
Cons: Very poorly constructed.

I have owned this dishwasher for four months.  In that very brief period of time, it has only worked correctly for approximately two weeks.  Amana has sent a repair tech to replace the control panel three times already!  Each time, I've had to wait for the repair tech to arrive (four hour window), diagnose the problem (control panel each time), then wait for the part to arrive after ordering.  Each time it was "repaired", it worked correctly for a couple days.  Because this is such an ongoing problem, the control panel is now on back-order and won't be available for approximately one month!  I've demanded a credit from Home Depot, but they will not credit me since Amana won't credit them. Absurd! The entire process has been infuriating.  Needless to say, I will never purchase another Amana product.  I am going to stay away from Home Depot's appliance department as well.  They certainly don't stand behind the appliances they sell.
