Pros: The unit was advertised as white, and it is white.
Cons: It doesn't work.

I purchased two portable AC units in late March and in mid-May, the first hot day of the year, I discovered that neither one was capable of cooling a small bedroom. The store I bought them from wouldn't take a return since it had been over 30 days, and these units are only manufacturer warranted for 30 days!

The units tout both ease of use and quietness, neither is true. They both are so loud you can't hold normal conversations nearby, and watching TV is impossible without turning up the volume to loud levels. The controls are counter-intuitive. For example, to cool a room below 80, set the thermostat lower than 75 (it's actually mentioned in the manual!). There is also this non-nonsensical AUTO cycle -- auto what? Really dumb.

Don't just avoid this product -- avoid any retailer or manufacturer that sells it or that otherwise refuses to stand behind their appliances!

Cons: Useless window vent kit, poorly written user manual

When I first received it, I was disappointed with the poorly written user manual, flimsy window mounting kit and difficult to use drainage tray. However, after installing the vent in a wall as opposed to a window, and learning from the manufacturer that the unit only rarely, if ever, needs to be drained (it's not clear in the manual), my opinion has changed. The touch controls are easy to learn and use, provide a good deal of control options, and the unit cools very well. It is very sturdily built and, compared to others in its range, is very compact and good-looking. However, the window kit is totally useless, as the high density foam - although an excellent insulator - is too flimsy and flexible to support the vent hose while maintaining its shape. The manufacturer said they are working on an improved window venting kit which will combine the good insulation properties with a stiffer structure.
