Pros: Cute! Cute! Cute! Cons: Absolutely none!

Cute, Special, Unique Toy, but Expensive

Pros: Cute idea Cons: Small, boring, doesn't work, not at all portable or cuddly
"It is cute and looks like a real kitten!" says my daughter. She received Licorice the Cat from the American Girl catalog this last Christmas from her uncle, who lives in California and couldn't make it up to Washington for the holiday.
Okay. Do you want to know what I think as a parent? I'm not as impressed as my daughter for several reasons:
1. It's smaller than pictured, significantly so.
2. It's hard, not at all soft, and unbending
3. The "ball of yarn" that's supposed to stick to its mouth keeps falling down due to a week magnet
4. Yeah, it's cute, but it ended up as room clutter, since my daughter can't "do anything" with it but look at it.
This Licorice toy, while cute and collectible, is not near the quality it should be for the price. I would suggest buying one of the American Girl Dolls instead and not purchasing this animal toy accessory.
