Pros: Easy... to use... to clean up.. works great!!
Cons: Stress points poorly designed. Reinforce the weak points with epoxy & fiberglass before use.

Great concept in cooking. I wore out 2 of them. Cooks precisely the way you want. However the major stress points break easily but are repairable with epoxy. Careful handling will increase the life of the oven. The ease of use and quality of cooking are worth the trouble.

Pros: Freezer to plate in no time flat with grilled look and taste.
Cons: Extremely poor product quality and short life span.

I'm on my second Nesco American Harvest Jet-Stream Oven. I absolutely loved the first one because I frequently cook frozen turkey burgers and salmon burgers, and this oven serves up almost BBQ'd burgers 14 minutes from the freezer. I was disappointed when the first one died after only 2 years (the fan died), but I used it every day so I bought another. The second one is dead after less than three months, and won't even power up. I want and need what this oven does, but I'm not going to buy another.

It does what it states and does it extremely well, but the product quality is very poor.

Pros: Cooks food quickly and does not dry out food.
Cons: very poor quality plastic, NO PARTS AVAILABLE HEAD UNIT MUST BE REPLACED AT ABOUT $100

These Nesco Jet Stream ovens are not repairable. I have owned two and both have broken. I found that plastic clutch on motor broke on both units. I tried to get a replacement part from Nesco but they would only sell the whole head at a ridiculous price of about $100. Almost the same cost as a new oven. I am in the repair business and would not recommend a product that offers no parts or support. The only reason I tried the second unit was to give them another chance thinking maybe part was cracked or defective. I will not buy or recomend their products.

Pros: Love it it's great
Cons: Don't see a con but the drive belt can break, but is easy to fix.

I have been using the American Harvest Jetstream oven for around 10 years and had no major problems and love the way it cooks. My Mom has one and the only problem is she needs a new lid. Had to replace the drive belt but that was no problem after I was able to buy the belt. One of the best cooking products on the market.

I bought a broken Jet Stream oven on ebay for 10 bucks....the fan was not working. When I received it, I took the head unit apart and saw that the fan belt was snapped. I ordered a new belt on line for five bucks and I was ready to start cooking. This thing is fast..fast..fast!! The food comes out nice and moist.

I've had it now for 5 months and I use it everyday.

The newer models don't have belts to break

Pros: I am lost without it. I do all my cooking with the jet stream.
Cons: cleaning the lid can be a problem
